2. Continuous Drag with Increments

   This may overlap with requests for horizontal scrolling and drag direction but it may solve both.

   Drag currently only works between two states and in one direction. It would be nice if several artboards could be used with the same drag. For example: think of a carousel with multiple images shown horizontally. I don't want to have to click+drag each time I want to advance. It would be nice if I could click once and continue dragging until the specific image I want is centered. Letting go would snap to that artboard. During the drag it would transition through all of the artboards in-between. It would also need to be reversible.

   I love auto-animate and drag by the way.

3. Link interaction on overlay with action on the base artboard

   Having the ability to click an element within an overlayed artboard to cause other interactions on the original artboard.

4. Keyboard shortcut to switch between Area and Point text

   I'd like a keyboard shortcut to quickly switch a chunk of text between Point and Area text instead of clicking with the mouse.

6. Bypass cloud prototype link password when linking from the source file

   Password protected prototype shares are great, but is it fair to assume that the owner of the source file can get straight in when they open it from the source file in XD - I think so, given that they can change the password. It's a little annoying having to input it every time. Likewise from notifications in the desktop app - but clearly that is a little different as you're not in the source file.

7. Choose frame rate for Record Preview

   My recordings are very laggy from Record Preview. If I could choose 30fps instead of only having 60fps, that might fix the performance issue (bug filed).

   But, all I need is a 30fps video, anyway. So, would prefer that just on it's own, even if performance was fine.

8. JIRA: Preview of an artboard for artboard link, not of main artboard

   Same problem for integrations in Slack and Jira integrations' previews

   If I am adding or sharing Adobe XD link of a concrete artboard in some project, e.g.:
   https://xd.adobe.com/view/PROJECTID/screen/ARTBOARDID/
   then preview usually is generated not for this concrete artboard that i am sharing, but for the main artboard of the whole project

   So in fact it generates for me this link preview:
   https://xd.adobe.com/view/PROJECTID/

   This is completely illogical, when e.g. in Jira I create a task to implement concrete subpage, but then Adobe XD generates me every time the main page preview...

9. PDF export options: artboard title, 2-up view, prototype links

   In the PDF export process, there should be some check boxes.

   One should allow you to include the Artboard title.

   One should allow you to arrange the Artboard's in 2, 4 and 6 up options on a page (I accomplish this by opening in Preview on the Mac and printing as PDF and using the Mac's layout feature), but it would be nice to have it built into XD.

   One should allow for printing the Prototype links between Artboard elements, using some type of ability to tile the output to a multiple page pdf that can be printed and reassembled on a wall.

   In the PDF export process, there should be some check boxes.

10. Create and Name Symbol on Layers Panel Should Also Set Symbol Name on Assets Panel

    This issue has been raised at least once before and closed as by design. Here is the issue and request:

    Repro:
    - open the layers panel
    - draw a shape
    - select it and press CTRL + K to make it a symbol
    - rename the symbol in the Layers panel
    - switch to the Assets panel
    notice: the new symbol is still named Symbol XX
    expect:
    1 - an option to name both the symbol and the instance when you first create it, so you don't have to name it twice (once in the Layers panel and again in the Assets panel)
    2 - the symbol name should be set automatically when the instance name is set in the Layers panel (and the symbol has not been explicitly named)

11. Define artboard order in the Design Spec using the Z-order of the artboards

    The artboards order should be determined by the order of artboards In the XD app, complex setups and groupings do not work well with the automatic
    left to right , top to bottom approach. It works well for simple setups

    Not ones that include 30+ pages, this approach causes more problems then the time it attempts to save

12. Missing basic mouse accessibilities like pan, zoom, scroll. XD shouldn't force using keyboard for panning

    Issue: Unable to scroll / pan & zoom out without keyboard in the design mode

    As demonstrated in the screengrab, I wasn't able to pan in the design mode without using keyboard. At ~00:20 I also tried the usual panning technique as in other Adobe applications (PS, ID, Ai, etc), that is to click and drag the mouse from any point on canvas to outside the currently visible area of the canvas, but I wasn't able to.

    I was able to scroll vertically using mouse wheel but to do horizontal scrolling Adobe XD forces us to use a keyboard. There isn't a scrollbar either.

    Also, there is no other way to zoom out except using a keyboard.

    Talking about a tool to build applications with 'better experience', & not making that tool accessible and usable enough (missing basic interaction functionalities) seems like something needs rethinking or focus needs adjusting.

13. Share for Development: Better compression for PNG assets

    When downloading PNG assets from the Design Specs link, we always run them through an optimizer like TinyPNG to reduce size even further. It would be great if the PNGs were already optimized so the team could skip this extra step.

14. Separate page to view all downloadable assets in Design Specs

    Edited: I'd like to see all downloadable assets in Design Specs, because sometimes I have assets that are repeated across multiple artboards.

15. Access Shared for Review documents with XD mobile apps

    Currently if you share a document using the Share for Review function the receiver can only see this document on a web browser. This has limitations, both on viewing experience (browser chrome gets in the way) and performance.

    It would be great if the prototype could be seen directly inside the mobile XD apps instead, under the Shared with You section.

16. Adjust layout grids with the mouse

    The way I would like to see it is like this:

    1. First it should have 2 modes: auto and manual. Auto would generate all columns equal based on single column and gutter values. Manual would let you set your columns and gutters at whatever values one wishes.
    2. It needs to be draggable with the mouse and you should be able to see near the grid line the values of the column you are changing.
    3. After the grid is made mouse interactive, the way you would create one grid could be something like this: First you set the first line mirrored by the last witch would set the total width of the grid and the margins and then on the next step you drag to set the columns and gutter values. Visual cues about their values are needed.

17. Share, Download and Delete (Cloud Documents must have options online or locally)

    Currently Cloud Documents when selected only have a Delete option. I believe the document should have more options. Use the three dots menu and add the options to Share and Download next to the existing Delete button.

    These options should be available when the cloud documents are accessed online as well.

18. Publish Individual Screens for Stakeholders to Use for Communication between Teams

    I run into needing to share screen #3, #14, #34 with a stakeholder to use within a presentation, think powerpoint. I have to manually export these screen fo each round of changes. I would like to publish for review only SAID screen numbers where the end user can comment OR DOWNLOAD a png or pdf of the most up to day version.

19. Apply global color to selected element with keyboard shortcut

    When I have an element selected, it would be great to apply one of my global colors to it with a keyboard shortcut. XD could give all my global colors a number from top to bottom and then I could reference it with ⌘⇧1 , ⌘⇧2 ... (just an example). In that case I can sort my global colors in the order I use them most and the shortcut automatically references the respective color. Optionally pressing ⌥ could change the border color.

    This would save me a lot of mouse movement and time.
