  1. Stack actions within a single interaction (multiple, cascading, ordered)

    Let's say you're designing a switch, and you want to hint to the user that it can toggle with a tap, so you want it to bounce gently when hovered over. It would be great to be able to auto-animate to a different state, then immediately auto-animate back to the previous state upon completion of the first action.

    The ability to stack actions would allow for complex interactions with the least amount of user interaction.

  2. Animations on components should be controlled through a panel

    Howdy, folks!

    That's a little bit of a stretch, but hear me out:

    We could have a new panel to handle animations on components, for micro-interactions. This panel would allow us to select which propriety would be animated, like we do with css animations, calling specific prop, e.g.: "transition: width".

    That would allow us to make correct animations for micro-interactions, and also allow us to see exactly with animation to use we is time to deliver the prototype to the developers.

  3. Bind micro-interaction on any element inside the component

    Howdy folks!

    Would be awesome if we could bind micro interaction on any element inside a component. That would allow us to make more complex interactions for components, like multiple state changes based on different elements and triggers.

    Imagine a Sidebar component, that when we tap some button inside, that make the sidebar toggle size. With the option of binding the state change on the child element, the prototype would be more reliable when was time to delivery to the developers, where they would know exactly which element trigger each state change.

  4. "Click-Outside" trigger, for micro-interactions

    Hey good people!

    Would be great if we have a new trigger for "click-outside" elements.I know that some ways to hack this feature, but would be so much easier to handle state changes on complex components if we could select a click-outside element trigger.

  5. Hover-Out trigger for micro-interactions

    Would be great if we had a hover out trigger, so that will be activated when we leave the element.

    That would make so more realistic to handle state changes, especially whem we have many states in our component.

  6. Move component to front and change state on click

    I have multiple components and some of this components states are popup windows, since the first state of the components are buttons, when the pop up state is triggered the other components beneath will show up in front. If i bring this componen to front then the next button will have the same problem.

  7. Stack : Not working with Component - Default state to Next State that animate larger

    With the new update the stack and scrolling verticaly/horizoontaly.

    Create Component -> Repeat Grid -> Ungroup -> Group - > Create Stack ->inside the stack main component -> Create new state (After) -> On after state(Make the space vericaly larger) ->Default to normal state back -> press preview.

    Result : Inise Xd Programe, is shows that the component is pushing the stack. When preview mode, doesnt push the stack accordingly.

  8. [Windows] Horizontal Scroll not working on windows at View Prototype Mode

    Ive tried the new features its cool. But Horizontal Scroll doesnt work on windows where you in preview mode. However, when generate links, it works well browing using the links

  9. allow multiple hover triggers to change between components states without having to mouse off component and start from original state

    Currently I have a component with 7 states. Its a left nav bar with a collapsed(default) state with 6 buttons to hover trigger the other states. I have each button set to hover trigger each corresponding state, which are flyout menus. I have already gone into each of the 6 states to reapply the hover trigger to each button. Currently, I can't just slide my mouse down the 6 buttons to trigger the states associated with them. I have to hover trigger one of the flyout menus, then I have to mouse off of the entire component, reseting it back…

    Allow more than one of the same type of interaction on a component.

    For example two taps. One triggering an overlay menu, and One moving down to anchor link on another part of the page (where the overlay is position to show)

    Thanks for your feedback. One of the things that you might want to consider is adding the interaction you’re looking for inside the component itself to change states through an entire component itself.

    How would you want to determine between the two interactions (when to trigger an overlay vs. when to go to a different artboard) if you have both interactions defined?

  11. Add Automatic Counters

    Make auto counters a thing so that a numbered component/list can automatically change when a certain trigger is applied. Example: When adding items to a shopping cart, the number on the cart icon automatically changes when the button is clicked instead of having to manually create a list of numbers and different states for each one.

  12. Copy component between files without linking, or unlink without ungrouping component, so that states are not lost

    Currently when you copy a component from one file to another it is a linked component. If you unlink the component, not only is it unlinked, but it is also ungrouped and no longer a component at all. Any additional states you had set up are lost.

    Sometimes I don't want to use linked master components from a design system but just want to create a new local master component, similar to one in another file but then make some changes. I'd like to just copy the component over, with all it's states, not linked and make my tweaks to…

  13. Default overlay interaction to none

    It's annoying to manually change each overlay artboard's default interaction from 'previous artboard' to 'none'.

    I found myself in many situations, where I either wanted to disable it completely, or wanted to point to a specific artboard.

    As of now artboard interaction works on entire artboard, as if overlaid on each element. For interaction and review purposes, I want to mostly use an X button, or force users to use OK/Cancel buttons that I provide. In mobile situations this is more prominent. In mobile prototypes it's even more annoying because an accidental tap can close a full-screen overlay, which doesn't…

  14. Mask artboard interaction by overlaying objects

    I'm making an overlay that you can dismiss by clicking away on an empty area. I want only that empty area to be clickable, while the contents of popup/dialog/overlay to be unclickable. Same goes for objects partially obscured by any overlaying object.

    I found myself, and many of my presenters, to be clicking on an element (not necessarily a button) that is part of a popup/dialog, just to simulate a clicking behaviour. This causes an underlaying interaction to trigger, and that's undesirable.

  15. States should be atomic

    Yes... know there are plenty of threads and complains out there about this topic. But can't invest my time searching and tediously upvote each one of them. So as it seems I'm forced to work as "beta tester for free, at least let me invest the lesser time in post expensive bugs.

    Simply I've lost one client, time, money and health with the amounts of bugs and insane usability flaws of XD user interface. Really... I'm tired, very tired.

    Just built an "atomic" approach of buttons, dropdowns, etc... invested weeks learning the anti-intuitive way to make states work, with hours…

  16. Enable easy switching between game controllers

    Hi, dear XD Development Team

    With the current feature, once you set the Xbox input, you can only operate it with the Xbox controller.
    In the case of multi-platform development, the
    You have to do the same thing again with the PS4 controller.

  17. Grid Component Hover relation

    I have a component with the hover state that is repeated within the grid. I repeated the first element several times, then I want to have different texts and images in each element. I expect that the change inside of each instance will NOT be repeated in other instances of this component within the grid - unfortunately this is not the case.

    Thanks for your feedback! I think what you’re actually looking for is not a repeat grid, but actually a series of components grouped into a stack. That way, it can grow and shrink with the size of the components in the stack instead of being fixed in width like the repeat grid. Does that work for you?

  18. Overlay via hover not possible?

    I noticed I cannot put a Hover-Interaction on a component to trigger an overlay. When I use Hover, it only allows switching between states. And when I set a new Element and try to let it trigger an Overlay, the Option "Hover" is not even given in the Interaction-Menü.

    Is this a bug or a non-improvement?

  19. Scrollable action to another artboard anchor

    I'm hoping this idea is just an add on from the current Scroll action.

    At the moment you can create a button etc and link it to a certain area on your artboard. It then automatically scrolls to that area once clicked.

    My idea is to have this same feature, but with an option to jump and scroll to a specific area on another artboard.

    It will make the user journey so much better when using things like quick links etc

  20. Disable interactions behind the Overlay

    When there are multiple interactions in an artboard and when the overlay appears on top of the artboard, the interaction is still clickable and the other artboard is appearing over the overlay again which is making a mess
