  1. Centralize strings to be edited in a single place

    It is useful to edit strings collectively, for example if you focus on a board, make a panel, where all strings are listed leading to the focused board.

  2. Enable interactions during transition

    While playing (long) transitions (e.g. a 5 sec auto-animated loading animation) it is not possible to trigger any keyboard/gamepad or voice events (e.g.in order to jump to another view). This is annoying.

    Click events -on the other hand - are possible to abort running transition at any time.

    I reported this as bug, but was told to raise it here.

  3. Support nested components more than two deep

    Given I create a component with instances, inside a component with instances, inside component with instances, third level of instances appears to be disabled even if you have different components with different instances inside.

    That instances would be useful, for example, for a search bar, with list of items, with a switch inside these items, with a button when that switch is enabled.

    I tried to do a video explaining what I wonder to do.

  4. More stable and logical actions on components

    Component have a lot of bugs when there is multiple instances of them (Example: Open dropdown; roll over; choose the option; validate; close dropdown etc).

    The other things is about the rollout effect: When I set up a rollover effect on a specific element or group of elements inside a component, the rollout effect is not on the specific element or group of elements that I selected before for the rollover but on the entire component. It's not logical and realistic effect in the case we have a component with multiple instances inside (Example: Dropdown for filter: I open it,…

  5. Convert artboard links to component states

    Problem: Components quickly become convoluted and hard to track. They lose track of elements in Auto Animate. They have problems when nesting components. Still we cannot allow for two swipes on one object.

    Possible Solution: Since linking artboards seems to be more stable and intuitive than components. I wish we could simply turn linked artboards into components.

  6. File Upload for prototyping

    This would encompass more advanced input and forum tools. For example, during a user-testing session, it would be nice if the prototype could all the user to simulate uploading a file from their desktop.

  7. Show component states as artboards

    The explicitness of the artboards is one of the most valuable aspects that drove me into XD.

    It is great for design (when you can see and edit things at once) and specially for team collaboration ("How will development see all states?" https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/38978644-component-states-to-development-design-specs).

    Wouldn't it be great if:
    1 - states were special (explicit) artboards, tied to the original object (like Overlays);
    2 - the single regular Interaction pane could have triggers like "Hover/Mouse in/Mouse out" and actions like "State" (instead of requiring setting up states in the Design of a component before triggering them elsewhere in Prototype);

  8. Keyboard shortcut for "Fix Position When Scrolling"

    For your consideration, it would be awesome to have a keyboard shortcut for applying "Fix Position When Scrolling" to selected elements.

    It would save me time when having to re-apply this setting to certain elements after being manipulated or grouped/un-grouped.

    That's all, just a lil click-saver suggestion.

  9. Interaction on a component inside already active interaction on another component

    Please make the interactions on 2nd component, inside 1st component with active interaction - work!. Inception-thing-trying-to-describe-haha

    They work for a few minutes, but deactivates later.

    It is basicly a button inside a button. Please make it work.

    I can go around the issue by adding more new canvas such a "load-in", but this will take up entire artboard - and this is not infinite (..new idea! ;)..)

  11. Prototype preview default screen selection for multiple screen

    Description
    It becomes very frustrating when you have multiple monitor setup and you work on the laptop and see the preview on the big monitor next to you. Normally how it works is that you take the XD to the monitor you want the preview to be, click on desktop preview button and then the preview opens in the big monitor on a 100% scale. Then you come back with XD to the laptop. I think if we had a setting to open the preview on the user'

  12. Disable interactions behind other elements

    I would like to make it so anything behind another element is not clickable. For example, having an overlay on a dashboard — any interactions on the dashboard that are behind a modal should not be clickable or interactable..

  13. Hover state is laggy

    I just want to say that the hover state is quite laggy, if I have a sidebar navigation with each item having a hover state - it lags quite a lot to show the hover states.

    Currently we are removing all hover states, but it will be great to get these as speedy as if it were coded in a web CSS prototype.

  14. States be retained across canvases, and retained as children

    Having a card component with a hover state, and within this card component is a checkbox.

    If I hover over the card component and mark the checkbox as selected, when the card component goes back to regular mode as I am not hovering any longer - the checkbox unchecks.

  15. Touch states for mobile app designs

    I absolutely love the new hoverstates features in Xd. Following this I think it would be very handy if Xd introduced more advanced states like touch feedback for when we design and prototype mobile apps. For example as I type this message the letters on my keyboard pop up and out to show what I am pressing. Same thing goes for my calculator, as I press a number it bolds up. These subtle animations/feedback would do wonders when presenting the prototype.

  16. Mousewheel trigger

    It would be usefull to allow to use the wheel of the mouse to interact between two screens in the two direction.
    for now, we can only use a clic or the keyboard to simulate a scroll. for a client, i't not easy to understand

  18. Maintain last known component state when autoanimating to a new artboard

    Would be great if XD would remember the last known component state when autoanimating to a new artboard. Or, better yet, let us mark components for state remembrance on artboard change. Otherwise we are right back to the thnig states was supposed to solve, duplicating artboards for the appearance of a saved state hahaha ;)

    I have seen and voted on some other feature requests for conditional behavior, which could solve this issue too if implemented right, but this is a bit different.

  19. Use "signals" to change states

    Add an interaction destination type called a "signal." Select "New Signal" from the interaction destination dropdown and name your signal something like "Uncheck All." Let's say you set this interaction's trigger to be to "Tap" a button.

    Then, add another interaction on a separate object and you'll find "Uncheck All" as an option in the Trigger dropdown for the new interaction. Let's say you did this for all your checkbox elements (component instances) on the screen and set their destinations to be the "Unchecked" state.

    Now you can have one interaction controlling several elements on the screen!

  20. Run custom code during prototype viewing

    Without fail there is always an interaction or need that isn't in the software. Plugins allow custom code during development. Allow a custom code component to run during the prototype state so I can add features that XD lacks. Like a scrollbar component that scrolls dynamically when users are viewing the published shared content to better simulate a true experience.
