Thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately, it’s unclear to me what you’re asking for. Can you please clarify?
I share often to see my design results. The share UI and share tab are now far apart so it has become a very frustrating workflow to go back and forth between tabs and the share UI panel. And there doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut to share that works (I'm on a PC).3 votes
Thanks for your feedback! I’d love to get a concrete suggestion as to how you’d want this to be fixed. There’s already a keyboard shortcut (you can cycle through tabs by using Ctrl+Tab).
Sometimes I need to get a prototype shared with devs so they can start working on some small piece of the software before I'm done, and to allow time for comments etc in my fast-paced work environment. I often find myself needing to share prototypes before I've started to make them interactive, when they're just in very early stages (sometimes just to show progress, sometime so devs can get a head start on basic styling / layout). However, right now the app won't allow me to share a prototype that has no interactions. This means I have to either add a bogus interaction that does nothing (silly) or export an image (not helpful, devs need specs). It would be nice if you didn't try to force us into your idea of the ideal workflow, and instead let us decide when to share our prototypes.

Message from Arun: If you do not have any wires connected across your artboards, then XD will publish all the screens starting from left to right and top to bottom.
Do you try doing that and see if this helps you?
I needed to .exe export when I create a project demo on prototyping mode to sending this export to the manager or somebody that he doesn't have XD on his Computer.
please add .exe export in this section.
thank's a lot.3 votes
Have you tried sharing to the web instead? This would give your manager who doesn’t have access to XD.
I have a ton of prototypes. In addition to adding folders (covered in other requests) I would like the ability to archive old prototypes.3 votes
Thanks for your feedback! Currently, you can delete and archive prototypes from assets.adobe.com. Can you clarify what type of experience you’re hoping XD would have to manage your prototypes?
support hide for art boards2 votes
Thanks for your feedback! Are you asking about hiding in design mode or when publishing?
Currently, after creating a component, there is a preview image of that component in the assets panel. But if you make a change to that master component (for example, changing a green object to red) the preview in the assets panel does not update. So even though I now want this component to be a red object, it becomes very hard to find it in the assets panel, at a glance because it is still green in the preview image.4 votes
Sherif has Emailed a question – looking forward to getting a response!
I want a function that allows multiple XD files to work together. This is a viewpoint for a "system" in which multiple products operate in conjunction.
Necessary for designing the linkage between a smartphone and a watch.
This perspective should become very important in a few years.
It is not that multiple users operate XD at the same time.5 votes
Sorry, I’m afraid I still don’t understand what you’re asking for. Does component states help with this?
May you make a plugin "Break apart objects".2 votes
Thanks for your feedback! When you’re asking for breaking apart an object, how do you imagine this working?
It's frustrating that you only have the ability with Layout Grid to create columns. horizontal 8 point grids are becoming a big thing with UI design. XD needs to have that capability. Until then I will have to stick with Sketch.2 votes
The feature name is “square grids” – more information can be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/artboards-grids.html#grids Does this address your need?
I thinks its very annoying that you now force us to present the design specs and prototype in the same share cause now it's impossible to iterate these two documents separately. Most of the times my design specs and my prototypes are different iterations and must be shared separately. Often we iterate different prototypes and we send design specs for just sections of the design, the section that has been accepted for release. With the new setup it's impossible to continuous this strategy and it messes things up. Please give us back the opportunity to share ONE thing at the time! You could for instance make two options in the share section of XD where we could choose to share the specs with or without prototype or at least give us back the chance to share prototype files separately.

Arun has an additional question for you in the comments.
When I export assets from xd, it generally takes more space. And I can't directly import files from xd to photoshop, so first I have to import into illustrator and then to photoshop and then I can use save for web to optimize my assets.
So please incorporate a feature so that I can directly export assets from xd with compression.5 votes
Can you let us know about what settings you’re looking to access? We do already support quality settings for JPG.
In Figma I can set margins and gutters and then let the columns stretch over whatever the remaining amount of pixels is. Super easy to work with. Would be a great feature to add to XD :)2 votes
Thanks for your feedback! You can actually already do this – just set your margins and gutters in layout grid, and the columns will recalculate. The only caveat is that our columns are pixel-snapped, which means that you can’t have fractional columns. (Instead, we’ll add the remainder to the margin.) Given this information, can you clarify what you’d like changed about the existing layout grid system?
When I have a component I would like to be able to add a shadow to the component. Currently there is only fill and border available.3 votes
Sherif has a response for you: Alan,
Today in XD, you could select any layer inside the component and add a shadow to it, and it render outside the component bounding box. Does that solve your use case? if not, could you please add more detail into what you’re trying to achieve.
Hello, can be added button to select hover effect by default, beaucause now all time need to switch manualy after edit some of states1 vote
Thanks for your feedback! I’d like to clarify – you can currently create a hover interaction by clicking on + and selecting “Hover” for any component. Are you looking for something different?
Example: I have a tap trigger, auto-animating to the next screen when tapping the entire screen. The more work I do, I realize I want to keep that effect but move it to a button instead of the entire screen being the trigger.
It would be great if I could move that wire from the entire initial artboard to a button element or maybe copy the wire, delete it, paste it onto the button. As of now I have to delete it, redraw it, remember what timing/easing I used originally and re-create.1 vote
Have you tried the Paste Interaction feature? You can select the artboard, copy, and then select the object you want, right click, and select “Paste Interaction.” Let us know if you’re looking for more than that!
The voice command with programmed speech playback can be of extreme use. I can have it store solutions if I say something like task 253 and it spits out the solution in voice, text, and/or another page or overlay.
Having a search filter for that area would be great too per page.
Please add me to a rewards list somewhere for the idea. : )1 vote
Sorry, I’m having problems understanding exactly what you’re trying to suggest. Can you please clarify how this would be useful to you?
It would be really useful, if reviewers could klick on a textfield and add the Text they want on the textfield.1 vote
Thanks for your feedback! Are you asking for people to be able to edit the shared prototype, or just to be able to edit a document on the web? Is there a reason why it would be particularly useful on a prototype?
Thanks for your suggestion! Can you explain in more detail what you’re looking for? Thanks!
I'd like to be able to select multiple layers and hide or show them with one click.
Currently I have to click on hide/show on each individual layer, wasting unnecessary time.1 vote
You can currently do this with a keyboard shortcut – Cmd+L on Mac and Ctrl+L on Windows. I’ll leave this open for the request about the click.
