Use current file location as Save as default path
When I select "Save As" it would make a lot of sense to use the file's current location as the default path. Currently XD seems to use the path that was used last time when using XD, regardless of the file.
I use file number versioning alot, and I have "lost" my files multiple times just to find out them being accidentally saved into the folder of another project.
Mihnea has a question for you in the comments!

Hahaha, its 2023 and they still haven't done anything about it. Good to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that this should be the way it is. The funny thing is Photoshop and Illustrator already does it that way, so I don't get what made the Adobe/XD Devs go away from something that's already existing and is more convenient for most.

This is still an issue in October 2019 - I have two different laptop setups (work & home, both Win 10) with the latest version of adobe XD and the default location to save is still wherever I saved last.
It would be nice for the save location to default to the current file path but allow us to select a new export location that is saved per XD file, like how it works in InDesign.

Hi Mihnea,
I have the same issue. When i'm switching files it's always the last export path that is set, not the project location. It's painfull when you are switching project....
I'm using Adobe XD CC v 13.1.32.8 with Windows 10 Pro v 1803 from 12/11/2018 (OS v 17134.407)
thanks

Windows 10 Enterprise v1709
Latest version of XD for Windos (Rel 2018-09-17)I just tested this again, creating two empty files, and the problem still occurs. I saved one first to Desktop and then one to Downloads folder. Then I selected "Save as" for the one I first created to Desktop, and the default save location is in Downloads.

Hi,
What version of XD and Win10 are you using? Does this happen for each file you are trying to SaveAs? I did a quick test with the latest XD on Win10 and each time SaveAs was pointed to the location of the original file.
Cheers,
M.
