    Hi,

There is a similar thread on this: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353010-adobe-xd-bugs/suggestions/37221082-adobe-xd-is-constantly-crashing-on-macos-10-14-4-w

It seems that XD 17 on 10.14.4 is also crashing with a similar stack.

    Hi,

Can you please describe what exactly did you try on Windows with Opera and Edge? What version of XD did you use?

    Thanks,
    M.

    Hi guys,

Is the problem fixed on your end with XD 13?

    Cheers,

    Hi,

Are you using XD on Win10? If yes, which version of Win10 do you have on your machine?

    Cheers,
    M.

AdminMihnea Ovidenie (Admin, Adobe) commented  ·

    Hi,

I assume you are running XD on Win10 RS5. If so, this issue will be fixed in the next XD update.
If not, please give us more details about you problem.

    Kind regards,
    M.

    Hi,

Sorry to hear about this. I have some questions:
    * XD version
    * is this the first install of XD or an upgrade?
    * does it happen all the time?
    * is there any difference between new and already saved files?
    * what happens after you restart XD? Are you able to save?

    Cheers,
    M.

    Hi,

How are the browsers displaying the SVG files? Do they look correct in Edge/Chrome?

    Hi,

What version of XD and Win10 are you using? Does this happen for each file you are trying to SaveAs? I did a quick test with the latest XD on Win10 and each time SaveAs was pointed to the location of the original file.

    Cheers,
    M.

    Hi,

I would like to understand more about your problem. I tested locally on both platforms (Mac and Win) and i was not able to reproduce the problem. I created 2 rectangles, selected them, copy in AI and paste in XD with the result that they were copied properly.

What XD version do you have and what Win10 version? Can you tell me more about the steps you are following to reproduce the problem?

    Cheers,
    M.

    Hi,

I would like to learn more about your issue. Does it happen all the time? Does it happen only with some documents? Does it happen with other fonts as well? Would you be willing to share your psd file privately with us to help understand and reproduce the problem?

    Cheers,
    M.

    Hi,

If you constantly reproduce the issue on your end, would you like to privately share the XD file with us so that we can reproduce the issue?

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

Can you give us more details about your environment please? OS version, XD version, AI version.
Does it happen for each AI file or just for some files?
Did it work previously for you and it stopped working after an update? If so, which update - OS, XD or AI?

    Cheers,
    M.

    Hi,

Have some questions in addition to the ones already asked:
    * what version of XD are you running?
    * i assume you have OSX 10.11 but please confirm
    * does the issue happen every time you start XD?
    * are you signed in with a creative cloud account?
    * are you able to create a new file and draw something there?

    Cheers,
    M.

    Greetings Everyone!

The issue fix was identified as an OS side problem. We’ve worked tirelessly with Microsoft and they’ve got a fix coming very soon. Once that’s available, I’ll update post with details on how to get it.

Thank you all for your patience and feedback!

    Making XD better together!!

    Hi,

I have some additional comments that might help us diagnose the issue:
    * i assume you are running XD on High Sierra (please tell us if not)
    * what XD version do you have installed?
    * what Illustrator version do you have installed?
    * when copy/paste stops working, you mentioned that you cannot copy/paste within XD itself, did i understand correctly? If yes, does this mean that you cannot copy/paste within the same XD file? Between 2 XD files opened at the same time?
    * when copy/paste stops working, what happens if you restart XD? Can you copy/paste again?
    * when copy/paste stops working, can you do the copy/paste from Illustrator into another application, like Photoshop for instance?

    Cheers,
    M.

I love love to explore it further and understand what happened. Would you mind sharing the SVG file/AI file privately with us so that we can take a closer look at it?

    Cheers,

    Hi,

As you may know, XD has a feature called "Publish Design Specs". Would it be useful in your process of handover the information to the developers?

    Cheers,
    M.

    Hi,

I want to make sure i understand your issue properly:
Step1: you create a design in XD with several artboards
Step2: you export those artboards to a single PDF file and the order of artboard placement respects left-to-right-top-to-bottom order
Step3: you use the exported PDF in InDesign
Step4: you add/rearrange the artboards in the original XD file
Step5: you export again the artboards in the same single PDF file
Step6: you notice that the order of artboards in the final PDF, while respecting the left-to-right-top-to-bottom rule, is changed and that impacts your workflow with InDesign

Assuming i understood your workflow properly (please correct if i am wrong), my first question is whether the exported artboards do not respect the rule left-to-right-top-to-bottom in Step 6. Based on your description, it looks like you want the order of exported artboards to be different than left-to-right-top-to-bottom. Some users mentioned they would like artboards to be placed in the order of creation, is this something you would like as well?

    Cheers,
    M.

    Hi,

Thanks for reporting this. Can you please give us more details about the font family and the font size you are using to reproduce the issue?

    Thank you,
