I’ve tweaked the title so it covers only exporting animation to GIF format. This will help keep our feature list fine-grained so we can get a better picture of which are the most important.

For the other formats that were originally mentioned here:

This is still an issue in October 2019 - I have two different laptop setups (work & home, both Win 10) with the latest version of adobe XD and the default location to save is still wherever I saved last.

It would be nice for the save location to default to the current file path but allow us to select a new export location that is saved per XD file, like how it works in InDesign.

With both the grid and flow view available for design specs, it would be really nice to have the ability to link directly to the flow view. Currently the grid view is always shown first. This would help my team and I when sharing design specs within the team since we generally focus on the flow view instead of the grid.

    e.g.

    Grid
    https://xd.adobe.com/spec/[unique-id]/grid/

    Flow
    https://xd.adobe.com/spec/[unique-id]/flow/

Using the second link would open the design specs with the flow view shown.

This continues to be an issue in Windows. Please fix the existing feature to allow for setting an export location per file or even just defaulting to same folder the file is in.
