Well... so after a while working with XD, I've found it a good competitor to other design alternatives.
While we are happy expecting for more design and prototyping features, I would ask if it should be feasible to expect some sort of Design System Manager from Adobe.
Although there are tons of very good alternatives out there, it would be invaluable to have all the "product design" pipeline just under the same tool (As UXpin already do)
Not only should it be faster and less "cognitive friction" (jumping from app to app, searching for export plug-in in different placements, managing assets out there... etc, etc)... but would be cheaper for the freelancers, who has to pay hundreds to maintain a myriad of different, and sometimes only once used services, plugins and whatever that is monthly paid.

Absolutely a must... when you have to jump between layers and components back and forth, moving pointer from object to panel, again and again, the "cognitive friction" rises exponentially, specially when you have to edit dozens of different objects.

hehehe... just found this limitation. Trying to build a Design System with more than 70 SVG custom icons and badges. Adding them one by one will be a pain.

absolutelly necessary... dealing with hundreds of images and graphics, all of them, hiding the layout structure and objects beneath. I've to constantly lock/unlock, hide/unhide elements to see what's under them.

Each time I add a new artboard in complex projects, it gets worst to manage and view in high zoom views.
It means, that the time needed to interact, move and modify increases exponientaly (and manualy update one by one screens, a task of days)
That's why I propose to add tools to improve the management of big projects with lots of artboards. Even, some way to reflect artboard names.

by the way, "feature in the backlog" since 2016... suppose that it's not a user experience priority.

Still waiting this basic feature... I can't understand it is not yet there. Simply I can't move to Illustrator to XD to create complex user interfaces. I've been working on AI for more than a decade and now I can't afford a learning curve in a new tool that can't do what I daily use. So the only way is to create png's and imoport it right to XD.
This week, three days of stress and errors just to change a menu item name in a 50 screen view.
In Illustrator or Indesign it should be a matter of seconds...

After almost three years, this common sense and time saving feature is still “under revision”. In my daily work with XD, more than three quarters of time is wasted importing and reimport again the images from Illustrator each time I make small changes as correcting a typo.
I use to create mockups with more than 20 pages... so multiply time, and sum all the errors you can do when you’ve to repeat the same absurd import and placement action, hounded of times and facing a deadline.

Or at least, create a basic included "table" element or something similar, so we can create quick tab arranged texts and elements.
