Please implement this feature as soon as possible!
We are a big agency and it is no solution to copy documents in order to be able to share links. This undermines the whole idea of cloud documents and collaborative work.

We're a team of more than 50 designers. We will change soon tool because of this missing feature.

Please, please, please.... implement this sooner rather than later. In order for XD to truly be a collaborative design tool for teams, it's a must that anyone invited to coedit can be given permission to update the link. The lack of this feature costs precious time and is very inconvenient. Thank you!

This functionality is a huge blocker for us as we scale our design team. Last I checked XD was supposed to be for teams, not teams of one!!

Definitely up for something like what Axure does w/ their cloud docs. They allow you to invite other collaborators and set them up as either Editors or Admins. Admins have all the same powers as Owners do, pretty much.

Hello, we're transitioning to XD and I just found out that collaborators can't publish links. It's rather inefficient. I was introducing to our company adobe XD since it's competing already against other tools. but missing this feature is really a hassle when we're trying to streamline the workflow and efficiency. It would be great to have this feature ASAP. it's been 3 years since the suggestion. :(

I don't understand how this is not a feature yet. I'm seriously considering changing tools as this is ridiculous. These aren't truly shared files.

It would be great to have the possiblity to update a shared XD-File. At the moment it is not possible.

How is this not a thing yet? I cannot explain how frustrating it is to take over a new project in a large enterprise and not be able to update existing links in a file that the previous designer started on their machine.

This feature is badly needed for larger teams, especially with co-edit being so important now.

Can we get an update? In the time of COVID and remote teams, we really really really really really really really REAAAALLLLLLLYYYYYYY need this.

This is so basic, Adobe. We need this feature.

Throughout a project, we would like multiple people to work on one XD file and save/share, keeping the same link. Currently with one owner, we have to do changes then ping the owner to update share link.

Proposal 3: A button in the XD doc that can transfer ownership to a Member which will auto copy it into their cloud docs along with any previously create links so that the permalinks would still work.

For XD cloud docs, we have a collaboration issue with 'Member editors' being unable to generate their own prototype links.

We would like to have single master flow docs that members editors update of instead of individually repeating work. Invited members to docs works great but currently, non-owners have to ask (and explain to) owners to generate (or hit update) shared links whenever they work on these flows over and over again.

Proposal 1: A shared repo in the cloud be accessible for all teammates under the 'Adobe for Teams' plan and they have 'owner' XD roles while working inside the cloud docs saved there.

Proposal 2: Enable a new Adobe plan that allows for more than 2 instances of the plan's software installed. The amount increase be paid for appropriately obviously (this would solve the stated issue by team members using a single account essentially).

Resolving this issue will solve another foreseeable issue with people leaving the company and losing there work potentially...

Currently
Only the owner can update the link to share it.
The issue with this solution is when the owner is not available, on PTO, or leave the company.

What's needed?
To have the possibility to chose who can update the link. Maybe it could be connected to the person invited to the document.

That's why we can't believe that Adobe has implemented true collaboration.
There are many different teams in one company. It is very important to empower them and let them work.
If this feature isn't created along with the team management feature, we can only say that Adobe has a truly closed system.

Would be great to finally see this missing feature in action. Working in teams is crucial nowadays and this missing feature is really blocking from properly collaborate in our team. Thanks for having a look at this issue!
