Also, on windows at least, the stretch from ctrl + shift + Y is a difficult one. Requires two hands. Can you pick a key that is easier to access?

The concept of states is great but this change is necessary to make them useful. Right now they just create too much extra work for the user.

This issue makes the states feature very difficult to use. If the user creates a new state and edits one element of that state, it should be treated as an override. The new state should still inherit all other properties from the default state and any changes made to the default state should propagate to all other states unless there is an override present. This is the way it would work in simple css.

Agreed, in many cases you are just experimenting with particular changes that you very well may abandon. The auto save feature makes this very difficult.

Same issue for me. I have all but given up on states (and maybe XD soon). It frustrating to have a very useful feature so close and yet so far.

It would be great if you could set constraints for all elements inside the repeated group as well so that when you resize the whole grid, each element within the grid resizes based on the constraints set within the group.
