I just can't work because the software automatically saves every small change i make. I feel a big willing to throw my notebook on the wall when this happens. OMG, I love my job, but Adobe XD makes me hate it with all my strength. For the love of god fix this! i can't take it anymore.

It is so stressing that i asked my manager to buy the Figma license because it is unbearable to work with this software. However, while my Figma license is not purchased by the company's commercial department, i am obliged to get anger with XD. God heeelp!!!

this autosave is suck as fuckk!

So annoying, auto save is saving every copy/paste instance and when I relocate a component. I only want it to auto save every hour not at every instance

The performance hit seems to be a big issue for a lot of people.
In my case, I'm usually just changing opacity of foreground elements to export backgrounds. My edits should NOT be creating new revisions that can potentially interrupt or mess up the designers who are also actively working on other parts of the document. A quick toggle for a read-only mode shouldn't be rocket science to implement.

Which idiot's brain got the idea of auto-save? My Adobe xd is freeze even I open new document.

Why after three years has this not been fixed! It's so frustrating trying to work and having xd freeze on you while you are still making changes. I really want to use this product over Figma, but they don't have this issue.

please adobe! you have to improve a lot on the auto-saving or allow users to remove it, is a kind of a nightmare and I waste a lot of time just trying to move an element or even doing zoom-in zoom-out... and my MacBook is a new version recently bought it, so don't try to say that "must be my MacBook"

with this super autosaving feature, adobe xd stats recorded up to 114 Hangs within uptime of about 2 hours. congrats... burned hours of my time just to wait the hangs is over

Especially for mobile developers (e.g. android, iOS) who need to export icons, backgrounds etc from XD, it is often necessary to delete other elements (text and buttons on top of the intended image for export). Mobile developers should rarely have a reason to update a shared design spec document so being able to disable autosave is crucial for the intended role XD is intended to serve in development pipelines.

Agreed, in many cases you are just experimenting with particular changes that you very well may abandon. The auto save feature makes this very difficult.

This is a terrible UX feature - I've just lost a whole afternoons work because of it.

Adobe decided to autosave WHILE I was saving as a new document, having just deleted the content of my page to start a new piece of work. This meant that my first piece of work was saved over before I'd clicked 'save as' - SO I'VE LOST EVERYTHING.

On a shared project, auto save makes designers' lives impossible. I want to decide if and when to commit changes.

Either remove this Auto save feature, or give us the control to enable/disable it. or a place where we can set the interval of it. This feature (Autosave in XD) is designer killer.
