As XD isn't still a mature tool, is obvious that the most of us will jump back and forth from XD to any other design app. One of the sacred rules of usability is consistency between common applications. XD share some frequent used tools with Illustrator, and none of them uses the same key shortcut as Illustrator (, Rectangle: R vs. M; Ellipse: E vs. L; and Artboard A vs. O).

Even common used menu options are placed vertical-left in XD, when all Adobe programs are horizontal-top placed (even Design and Prototype menus on XD are top placed). It’s a real cognitive pain constantly change from left to right reading to top-down menu scanning.

So please, consistency for long time Adobe CC users.
    Thank you! :-)

We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will be able to view all of the prototypes and design specs published from content within the space, all in one location. More details to come!

After being uploaded many mock-ups for different customers and projects, it’s becoming a daunting task to manage all of them and keep track of it to share with customers and team collaborators. Each time I update modifications, I’ve to copy paste the generated link and send it again to everyone, because nobody have an efficient and meaningful way to manage them all. So I propose the following improvements.

    1. Create a shareable link repository page of all uploaded mock-ups.
    2. Those repository pages should be grouped by customer, project or even “iteration”, so we could share only the ones we want.

    3. This page, could be thought as a kind of “dashboard”, showing all relevant information about each project and mock-ups, as date of publication, last update, allowed users to see them, number of comments, “resolved” comments, etc.

    4. Use a different link name system. The long text/number string doesn’t help (“https://xd.adobe.com/view/28fc3906-709d-442a-495d-baffb2f84cef-5ecd/screen/56e16da0-f326-48e5-8eda-8afea8c4ab10”).

    5. Maybe a virtual and meaningful system to navigate through individual customer/project links, so we could always go back to root page simply by typing the name of it, or deleting the subfolders on browser’s address bar.

Below a mockup with more or less the idea behind it (also, I've shared a view in XD review site with comments ( https://xd.adobe.com/view/1a486445-9ec8-4795-5437-f69b47be3a71-6c79/ )

mhhhh... message from 2016 and only 54 votes :-). Just today I've started to use XD for a project. It should be a priority for constantly update contents from outer programs as Illustrator.

Absolutely agree... In fact, I imagine it like a surgical removing of Dreamweaver's HTML rendering engine, and implant it to XD. Even more... I'd add SASS/LESS pre-processor capabilities to create classes and CSS hierarchy based on art board names/id. I mean, start mock up design right with real styles that could be exported to the front end development pipeline (and viceversa... update styles if somebody adds a change in any external IDE.
