The Replace Image function imports a replacement photo, but resets the proportions and placement to the photo's original size!!! ARGH! This is so frustrating! I'm trying to do a very basic hover effect in which a duotone photo changes to full color on hover, and it seems the only workaround is to use masks. How is this most basic of basic features not available in XD???!!! Jesus, Adobe, this is really lame.

Replacing an image resets it to its original size?? Really??!! COME ON, Adobe. This is insane.

Jesus Christ, 4+ years and this basic functionality still hasn't been added?! Seriously, the more I use XD, the more I hate it because of its inability to perform basic operations.

Much like in Illustrator or InDesign, when an object is filled with a Library color, that color should be highlighted in the Libraries panel. It's so frustrating to click on an object filled with a Library color, yet not know what exact library color it's filled with.

I'm going to echo what RK commented earlier:
"It's like XD was made by someone that has never used the other Adobe programs. Text formatting, ability to use smart objects, the addition of linked files (without using Libraries) all need serious work."
AGREED!
Photoshop is pretty frustrating when it comes to more advanced paragraph formatting, but even Photoshop is capable of handling this sort of basic text formatting. Come on Adobe, this is ridiculous!

OTF support is a basic feature that's supported in AI, PS, and ID. How is this not supported in XD in 2021??

Since some of you have mentioned wanting this for baseline grids, you might want to upvote this one (Baseline Grids) as well: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13030764

Four years now, and still no solution to this.
This is incredibly infuriating. For the love of god, Adobe, please solve this issue.
