Scrollable action to another artboard anchor
I'm hoping this idea is just an add on from the current Scroll action.
At the moment you can create a button etc and link it to a certain area on your artboard. It then automatically scrolls to that area once clicked.
My idea is to have this same feature, but with an option to jump and scroll to a specific area on another artboard.
It will make the user journey so much better when using things like quick links etc

It would be perfect.
Now if you create an anchor to another page it takes you to the same height from where it was clicked. -

What why is this not possible..? should be a basic feature!

It would make my work a lot easier! Awkward to show clients, when you click here, you'll move to...hang on...this spot on this page.

I have the same issue and looked for so long to find out how to wire a button to a bottom section in another artboard. But none of the tutorials from Adobe could make it work. I guess XD has no this feature.
It is very annoying that the users will have to keep going scrolling down to see the section I want them to read.
XD software design has lots of issues that are not user friendly. I often got frustrated with that. I already switched to Figma, it is much more handy. But my old designs in XD still need me sometimes back to edit and experienced the annoying again.
Many issues the users pointed out, XD will have to wait for voting to get it fix. Slow response to the market, hard to win the competition in nowadays’s fast-change tech battle field. This will make XD ending up to the dying path. Fix the issues the users are having is the only way to make you alive

I see this feature (which should be an essential part of the application) has been requested for well over 2 years but is still not available!! What's going on?

We need this @Adobe, thank you in advance

2 years later....come on XD, everything we NEED is already available in Figma - has Adobe given up on XD? it used to have regular updates, now photoshop and illustrator are updated more frequently - if Adobe has given up on XD, please let us know and put us out of our misery so we can finally all bite the bullet and move on to Figma

Spent the last hour looking for a viable solution to this thinking I was just looking in the wrong place.
Scroll to is great on the same page why on earth can't it be implemented to scroll to another page while prototyping?
I want to show a drag transition which inherently cannot exist on the same page because its multiple phases, I can set up the drag on smaller artboards but then while templating a page I can't have it auto-scroll to its location meaning each drag takes me to the top of the next page? how utterly short-sighted

The most important thing, is that we, the users, leave these comments, which would help us and Adobe too, and I don't see an Adobe Response to these needs, They must have Someone from Adobe reading these comments and suggestions.

Another proof of Adobe's short sighted, single purpose, casual app design mantra. We need control and flexibility!
It would be very much appreciated if they would just test their own software in multiple professional environments and not just follow some trend that could change in two years time.

Just adding my vote for this much needed feature in XD. It's such a seemingly basic function that it's hard to believe that it isn't already part of XD. Very frustrating to not be able to do this.
Anyone using a hack method to create a similar effect?

But yes, it would be so good, I often needed this function. But I am hopeful, over time, it will happen. Thank you to the Developers for finding an idea for that.

This is must have function for ANY PROTOTYPING software! See Axure RP for inspiration!
5000+ votes for f*****g dark mode and only 200 for this basic and must have funcionality for prototyping?
You want me to tell the client: "If you click this button, it will move you to this anchor on this page, please imagine that, the software i am paying is not capable of this 'advanced' funcionality..." -

Yes - please add this. One major feature in the product I work on is expandable sections to condense information on content pages. I want to show the stakeholder how easy it is for users to click on a section heading and expand the section to see the contents, but to do that I need to be able to add a link from that section heading in one artboard to that same heading within the expanded view artboard. I sucks that I can't show this functionality to stakeholders.
