We have started working on showing all artboards present in a Design specs link as thumbnails which will be the New page overview. We will also show which artboards have comments in it against corresponding artboard thumbnail that is shown in that page overview.

Hi,
The feature that allows you to control the position of stroke: inside/center/outside was started and it will be available in the future versions of Adobe XD. Will let you know once the feature becomes available.

Yes, I think I need something other. It would be great to use just one element so I just give an image a white border and a black background and if I can give the image an opacity of 80% separately, its getting darker, cause of the black background. At the moment the image has to be on a separately layer above the rectangle with the white border and the black background.

That's a BASIC feature and should be implemented as soon as possible. At the moment you have to lay a semitransparent rectangle over an image to darken this. But then changing the image is really annoying …

Okay, so I’m trying to understand here. By looking up documentation, I see that you can place images in your file and link them to an image on your file system, so not embedding them in the file. (I’m assuming you’re not talking about inserting links to images on the Internet via URLs.) When the document opens, it loads up the image and places it in. In some apps, updating the file on the file system will update the image automatically without any intervention, and in other apps, changing it on the file system won’t update until you either manually refresh or relaunch the app.
This scenario is what I was defining as “dynamic linking.” Smart Objects (as I’m defining them in my head) are elements that are in a CC file format (like Photoshop or Illustrator). Am I misunderstanding your request for external links?

1751 ones and nearly 4 years old feature request … I don't understand the Adobe XD policy?! You implement crazy teamwork functions but the really simple basic features in the app are missing!
• Bullet lists (please with the second line in line with the first glyph of the first line!!!!)
• Open Type features, lining figures (bad if the font hast the small old-style figures/numbers as standard and there's no chance to get the lining figures)
• paragraph distance
• distance between two glyphs/characters
• hyphenation
• better vector editing (cut, add …)
• color management!!!
• set guides without zooming out
• infinite workspace/canvas
• vertical alignment of text in text box
• apply a border/stroke to 1 side of a rectangle
• Simpler way to Crop Photos
• apply gradient to border/stroke
• defined border/stroke (or shadow) around the edge of a mask
• choose which artboards to share with stakeholders
• apply gradient to text
• maintain text formatting when copying and pasting from edit mode (rich text)
• transparent images in mask with background color
• …Please make 2020 to the XD-basic-features-year! Everything I can do with HTML/CSS should be possible in XD!

It has to be like in InDesign: I can choose the font or image of the bullet-„point“. For example: instead of a point I want to use an arrow

Sometimes in XD my hands are tied. I can't design what I want. That's frustrating. And one thing are the old-fashioned figures. My font Meta Pro has this. But often there are the normal lining figures are needed, because in heading etc. it looks weird if the first glyph (number) is a small old-fashioned figure/number. But how to select this? I can't paste it in from Photoshop or something else. It's not possible. I have to tell my client: "Sorry but my designing software is bad, I can't show you the design how I like to. You have to imagine how the design should be …" That's really bad …

That’s a great idea to collect specific artboards into groups. But the canvas has to be taller, infinite or flexible then to manage this ...!!!!

Because of lack of enough canvas size, this should be implemented to limit artboard amount (because one animation needs several duplicated artboards …)

At the moment you need different artboards to animate a slider or something else. it would be great to animate the slider (klick on an arrow to have the second picture rolling in from the right) without duplicating and manipulating artboards (because space in XD is not endless https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/16589980-infinite-canvas ;-)

Hope this comes soon especially since the latest Co-Editing function. If more than one person is working in the same file the projects are large and the amount of screens are high. Then the complex Co-Editing function makes no sense with such s small canvas. Wonder why Adobe first implement Co-Editing without enough space to use this proper.

Ok, maybe implement this in 2020!?! Make it from amateur to professional size! Or is it not an app for professionals? But the feature-request is not in the backlock …. So it will be real in 2024? But I think I will go on pension then …

ALL of my Sketch-projects blow up XDs canvas … It's not only the amount of artboards it's also to place the artboards in a logical order and that often requires to have more space in the width and height!

It's a shame that we have to deal with two elements to darken an image. At complex designs with dozens of elements that's really superfluous and makes the work unneccesary complex.
It's a basic feature to darken an image and edit background color and border separately. XD limitates my design work and slow me down. Please implement this!!!!!!
