Would you prefer it if all spaces are stripped out automatically on export, rather than simply removing the automatically-generated spaces from duplicated artboard names? (I ask because people often put spaces in the artboard name manually too - it seems like it might be nice to do that and still be able to easily export without spaces in the name).

This may be a combination of parallax scrolling (https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12942750-parallax-and-other-effects-while-scrolling) and microinteraction animations (https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12869229-animation-support-microinteractions)
Are you asking about the header that appears automatically in the sharing view, or headers that you have created as part of your design? The headers that sharing view adds should already disappear as soon as the user interacts with your prototype (either scrolling, or tapping).

Sounds like this is related to states (https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12982215-apply-and-maintain-states-of-an-object) and microinteractions (https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12869229-animation-support-microinteractions)

We think you’re going to really, really dig the plugin integrations we’re making available later this year :)
Closely related: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13779855-json-import-syncing (covers the "in the interim" part with local JSON files, rather than connecting to a live data API).

Note: you can see all links by pressing Cmd-A to select all.
This view can get messy if you have many links. For a streamlined view of all links, please upvote https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12957801-simplified-view-of-artboard-links
Note: you can see all interaction links already by doing Select All when you're in Prototype mode. But if there are many links, this view can get cluttered -- see https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12957801-simplified-view-of-artboard-links for more on that.
Note: this may be a subset of https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12933951-change-number-values-in-active-field-using-scroll (which would apply to all number fields, not just the zoom field)
Adjusted title (was "Standard Zoom Panel Functionality")
Another option more commonly seen in other Adobe apps is to provide a click-drag gesture for "scrubbing" the value on any numeric text field. See https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13052064-ability-to-scrub-values-in-the-property-inspector

There's another request here for more advanced freeform animation during scrolling: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12927846-custom-scroll-behaviour. We could keep this one focused on parallax and leave the other one for the more advanced behavior...
What sort of other effects do you have in mind, beyond parallax scrolling?
(Note: I've edited the title to clarify that this is about scrolling -- please let us know if that's not what you meant).

Just to clarify the current behavior further:
* Currently, only artboards created from one of the built-it templates will scroll when made taller than their original size. (For custom-sized artboards, we don’t know how tall the viewport should be, so it can’t automatically become scrollable).
* That will change soon -- you'll be able to manually control the viewport size independent from the artboard size, even for custom-sized artboards.
* If you need fixed headers, footers, nav bars, etc. that don't scroll -- please upvote https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13031847
If you drag an image (from Finder or other app) onto a shape in XD, then resizing that shape will indeed fit to the object proportionately.
Are you creating a mask in a different way, maybe? Currently masks created manually don't resize the image to fill the mask -- maybe that's what you're seeing?
Hi Cindy, just to clarify -- are you talking about the background of the Preview window, in cases where the preview window size doesn't match the artboard size?
It's already possible to set the background color of an artboard -- just select the artboard and click the Fill swatch in the properties panel on the right. I'm going to adjust the title & description of this so it's focused just on the missing part, device outlines.
I've added a new feature request for plain underlined text, if anyone wants to upvote that: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13826292-underline-text
