Parallax and other effects while scrolling

As of April 2021, all scroll areas in XD move at a fixed speed. If there are two scrollable areas layered on top of each other then they will both move as one. The idea for adjustable scroll speeds would be able to choose the scroll speed for a scroll area. For example, if there are three scroll areas layered on top of each other, with the first layer set with a scroll speed of .5, the second layer with a speed of 1, and the third with a speed of 2, the final result when scrolling would be a parallax effect.
I have been searching for a way to create a parallax effect that is controlled when scrolling. I think this would be a simple add-on that could have a powerful effect on how people use the program.
I am interested in whether or not this feature is possible. Are there any variables that I am not aware of that would make this feature difficult?
Thank you for taking the time to read my suggestion.
Warmest Regards,
Geoff

par·al·lax
noun
the effect whereby the position or direction of an object appears to differ when viewed from different positions, e.g. through the viewfinder and the lens of a camera.Too many designers use the word "parallax" incorrectly. It's a visual effect, not a way to smooth scrolling or fill browser windows. It's the visual effect you see when driving on the highway, trees close up move fast, moutains in the distance move slower, the moon moves even slower. Neither of the cases you describe above require a parallax effect.

this would make vertical scroll groups smooth in mobile preview.
In case we would want to scroll through a particular section, while allowing the section fill the viewport height. -

Echoing other users sentiments here. Could XD be updated with a scrollable parallax function. When designing sites for my clients it'd be far more effective show this effective to help them understand monetisation through scrolling parallax advertising placement in the prototype. At present asking them to tap the screen to kind of show the effect contradicts the real proposed UX. Thank you.

This is a pretty common effect in web design, but very difficult to demonstrate in prototyping — I would love for this feature to be added.

Is this still not available? I can't figure out how to showcase a parallax banner with a photo for scrolling.

We've got auto-animate parallax effect using time trigger? Why not Scrolling?

It would be helpful if there was an option to have an image fixed position, past the top viewport height. This will give the option to show the client a "mask" moving over an image.
Here is a site with an example of the effect I would like to be able to achieve
(see the coast to coast images & the mask movement)

Parallax effect please, so I don't have to answer that question every time I show a prototype
