Scrub values by dragging mouse in the property inspector
Like in Photoshop, when you click on a label the belongs to a value text field, you should be able to drag to increase or decrease that number value.

Yup. There should be at least one way to interact with those values using only a mouse pointer. That could also be a drop-down with preselect for values or slider (as in other Adobe apps) or those tiny little up/down buttons (I really should know the formal name for those.) As a power user, I highly value little UI efficiencies that keep me from having to switch between mouse/trackpad/tablet and keyboard.
I'm guessing the theory is that we should always be applying styles rather than specific values, and thus we shouldn't need to spend much time mucking about entering/selecting values. However, a) there are times before styles are defined, b) there are places where styles aren't appropriate, and c) there are no shortcuts for applying styles.

I can't believe this issue was logged in 2016 and is still a problem! Huge impediment to workflow and alone is a feature that is turning many of my fellow designers against the software in favor of others before they even get into it.

Slide input:
Hi, it would be nice if Xd like other adobe products have the slide to change value feature where you place the cursor to the side of the value input and click and drag for up or down increments of that input such as photoshop or increment arrows as showing in Illustrator until the later can be implemented. -

This would improve workflow a lot!

This is desperately needed. It's the very first thing I look for when I open any type of design document on XD, especially in a world where I'm used to this on all other tools, like Figma and Sketch. That's no brainer, XD has to implement this.
As a designer, here is what I do:
Let's say when I open a new brainstorming design file, to create a deck or throw all my ideas on an artboard.
1. Open a new file
2. Name the file
3. Start a new artboard (luckily XD does this itself)
4. Start a text box in the middle of this artboard.
5. So the font size of this text is usually extremely small, given I just want to put 2-3 words of a clue for this idea I want to work on. But it's too small!
6. Change the font size of this idea.Very simple. We really need this value scrubbing. Please give it to us. Otherwise, right now I just want to stick with Figma.
Below, I've attached how it works there. Just a good example. See how crazy simple modifying a unit of text, hence creating an idea is!

I'm so used to working in other Adobe apps and it always amazes me that that each seem to do very similar things a totally different way. Like these are all done by separate companies.
For the type tool - it should have other options other than typing in a value by hand. With PS you can drag your mouse left or right on the values and change them. Just seems like it could work in a similar fashion in XD.

Apparently this works on windows, but please make this work on Mac OS. I know it seems small but this is probably the main reason I keep going back to Figma.

Adobe XD has this feature. You have to select the value in the text field, then click and hold the left mouse button and drag up and down (vertically) to increase and decrease.

I definitely agree, glad someone started this conversation earlier. I'm a few weeks in at this project I started on XD just because I could do prototypes easily. But as time goes on, I'm feeling more bummed when I discover so many inconveniences like this. I hope they solve this one soon. XD is the only design tool that doesn't allow this out there, INCLUDING all other Adobe tools.

It amazes me that Adobe products still have so much inconsistency between similar items. It's like they are all working in different places and dont talk.
But the one that I think should change is the type size control in XD - why do you have to type in a value when every other app let's you either drag or click to do it?

In photoshop and other programs you can drag character elements like size, kerning, tracking to increase or decrease without having to manually input numeric values with the keyboard. PLEASE thank you.

Please implement this feature in Mac OS! I was amazed to see this is working in Windows but we are missing this feature that has been in Adobe apps for ages...

This is a huge issue with many many posts about it, but each post uses different terminology so you may be missing the importance to people.

Like many other apps, it would be nice to be able to click on a numerical property like W (width), H (height), X, Y, Rotate and be able to simply drag the mouse up/down or right/left to increment/decrement the associated value.

Would like the mouse to be able to drag up or down right or left font size in the character panel a lot like Photoshop has right now when you hover over the icon.

I'm copying a web site and think we could make it easier to have more control over typography.
