Although Adobe XD does not currently provide scrollbars to navigate the view of your content, there are several different options to pan the viewport around:
- If you have a trackpad, use two fingers to pan (if you have an Apple Magic Mouse, you can use one finger to pan)
- Hold down Space Bar and drag the mouse
- Use the mouse scroll wheel to pan vertically, and use Shift + scroll wheel to pan horizontally
An error occurred while saving the comment Zak commentedThe issue isn't the lack of ability to scroll or pan. The issue is that test users don't see a scrollbar in the published environment to help them intuit more content and prompt them to scroll. This is a user issue, not a functionality one.

An error occurred while saving the comment Zak commentedWhen you are working with your artboards in either mode, zoom in on the selected artboard/item in focus. A common feature in other Adobe products. Don't make me have to zoom and then manually pan to the item. Just zoom in on the focused item.

My prototypes are used for testing and there is no visible scrollbar on long pages. I have resorted to adding static images of scrollbars to provide a visual queue that there is more content and to scroll. I have attempted several workarounds creating interactive scrollbars which require multiple versions of the same screen to work and then the mouse scroll wheel doe not work. This is a very large issue, it has affected user testing and I have to resort to another app that has this very simple element in order to get user tests completed. This is a monumental failing, please fix, so I don't have to use your competitors.
