States are a wonderful feature, but not at this... ehm... state.

Ideally, all changes made to the default state should be inherited by all states in that component, while changes to a substate remain confined to that substate.

Also, changes to the states of the default component should be inherited by all instances of that component.

I understand this is not a simple implementation because there are many variables and different behaviours involved, but it is vital to the feature (and a great help to designers if developed right).

    Hi,

The feature that allows you to control the position of stroke: inside/center/outside was started and it will be available in the future versions of Adobe XD. Will let you know once the feature becomes available.

    Cheers,
    M.

We’ve begun working on an easier way to crop your images without using an image mask and will be releasing this in an upcoming release!
