Hi,
The feature that allows you to control the position of stroke: inside/center/outside was started and it will be available in the future versions of Adobe XD. Will let you know once the feature becomes available.

Yes, hoping the SVG exports for XD will work better. The Adobe Illustrator svg and ai elements are not exporting correctly from XD to Zeplin using the soft UI styling. Long shadows generated in Adobe Illustrator with the Blend tool also not exporting. In conversations on both sides to solve. The soft UI double shadows and blended long shadows are disappearing with the shape filling in black. Rasterizing is the only solve currently.

Running into the same issue with repeat character styles applied to different viewports. Need to assign specific variables to each character style without having to cross-reference. Huge limitation for responsive design. What are some temporary work-arounds for this while (hopefully) Adobe addresses?

Yes, please add this soon. And please improve the SVG exporting. Skeuomorphic or "soft UI" shadows built in XD and shadows imported from Illustrator including long shadows using the blend filter are not exporting correctly through Zeplin. It's a blocker on design/sprints.
