Merge character styles / colors
It would be great if it was possible to merge styles or characters. For example if I have a font style in the same weight, but in slightly different colors, it would be great to have the possibility to merge these two into one style, without having to relink the existing text boxes. Same would go for colors.

- Colour Management should include the ability to MERGE two colours into a new #HEX colour.
- Ability to Replace a colour by another colour in assets (drag and drop)
- Link colours from the same family, or complementary, colours to use together, etc
.....
I have many projects where I need to reduce the number of colours and merging them it will keep my assets clean. As for no I have the same black 2 times in assets since some elements use one and some use another, One is a design system linked another is local - which should be replaced by the Linked colour. Is double the work to update Black in my workflow...

Merging character styles / % colors / and as commenter Adam Fox said, the ability to swap themes would be excellent.

If the document uses colors that are really close to each other in hue, saturation, brightness etc., give the user the ability to select one and convert the others to that hex value. (this was the result of design experimentation with color an forgetting to change all instances in document).
In the attached, I would like to select a final red/orange color and have it change all instances of similar color to it.

My developer asked me why I have 50 shades of grey in my design, and why I can't just have one grey colour instead?
Or why my character styles look similar in terms of its font size, but the colours are slightly different or have slightly different line spacing.
I'm not able to track all these design elements, especially when I'm making websites, mobile apps, email templates, marketing and etc.
If there was a way for XD to identify which ones are similar and then can help merge the styles together, that would make life so much easier.

This would allow you to replace one existing theme color with another existing theme color, (ex: if you want to use one gray instead of two current shades), delete gray #1 would allow you to assign all assets using it to now use gray #2.
InDesign has a very similar feature that allows you to replace a swatch with another upon deletion.

"Styles" not "stiles" … sorry …

After a wild layout period I often have tons of different font-sizes, colors and so on … Now I have to reduce this for the developer. At this point it would be very helpful to let me show which colors+fonts+font-sizes+font-styles I have used in my project and where! If I know the place, I can decide to change a style to a common one.
