I don't see how this isn't a bug. Someone this.

    +1

I made a request for this already but I don't think I titled it well. Allowing animation on objects that are off the screen without needing to group them with something on the artboard would be excellent. Then the objects can behave differently once they are on screen.

Adobe please don't waste time and energy on redundant features! I can already do this with auto-animate!

It should work both ways! When you add a color in the color picker it should show up in the color assets panel. Then all we need is a color themes assets panel in place when they bring in CC Libraries.

I have something to add! When you select a shape that only has a border and no fill, selecting a color from the color assets should apply to that border instead of doing nothing.

This is more or less rendered moot by Mark's original suggestion, but it doesn't hurt for those who like using the assets panel.

I am currently designing a prototype of a mobile app. The home screen of this app has a set of buttons which lead to respective information screens. The header and footer-nav are to stay put when viewing these other screens. These screens also have a dropdown to be able to navigate between each other after leaving the home screen. This dropdown is only present on these screens.

I am attempting to use auto-animate to move the buttons off the screen and bring the info content on the screen. However, there is enough info to warrant scrolling. The only way to keep the "off screen" content associated with the artboard is to have it grouped with the content that it is replacing.

The problem is that I don't want the drop-down menu to scroll with the content, but it has to be grouped with the content in order for auto-animate to work properly.

As I see it there are two solutions here.
    1) Allow a fixed object to stay fixed even when grouped with objects that will move when scrolling.
    2) Find a way to associate content outside of an artboard with said artboard to allow auto-animate to work on the content without the need for grouping.
2a) Possibly a dotted resizable perimeter surrounding the artboard. Anything falling within it is associated with it when using auto-animate.

Yes, please. This would allow for a scrollbar that actually moves up and down with the content. Moving scrollbars have been almost entirely left out.

Hi, everyone! In the August release of Adobe XD, we’ve introduced the ability to consume colors and character styles from your existing Creative Cloud library. We’re working on bringing you the ability to bring in graphics (both bitmaps and vectors) as well, so we’re keeping this feature open until we get that out the door.

In the meantime, if you have feedback on what we’ve already released, please do file a new idea so that we can get community feedback on it.

If you haven’t seen the update yet, launch the Creative Cloud desktop application, click on the gear icon, and select “Check for App Updates.”
