Align to key object
One of the most convenient alignment features in illustrator is the 'align to key object', which Sketch doesn't support, making it difficult to align objects quickly. Please add that feature for XD.

Currently, the align tool will only align selected elements to the artboard. It would be great to have alignment options similar to Adobe Illustrator & InDesign, where the user is given the option to align to artboards, selections, key objects, etc.
Being able to use the align tool to align to the layout or square grid, for instance, would greatly speed up workflows when working with grids. Currently, we have to manually drag elements to grid columns or squares. Snapping is great, but the align tool would be better and faster.
When we need pixel perfection, being able to align to pixels would be amazing. It would save time fixing decimal positions.
Being able to align to selected elements and key objects would be a great time saver too.
Please see the attached example for how this could be implemented. It's a wireframe, a for-instance. Attachments of Illustrator and InDesign align options.

Adobe please ADD this feature. Without, production is slow.

How is this not a feature in a PROTOTYPING APPLICATION? Seriously, the inconsistencies that Adobe products have from one product to another are astounding.
Please Adobe, copy & paste the features from Illustrator; yes that other product that YOU MAKE, that has a handful of great features and give us those same tools in XD.
Sincerly, someone who is ready to move to Figma.

Yes. I know the plugin called Singari can achieve this. BUT this is the basic function in illustrator and indesign. ALSO, when you want to align objects and use other plugin at the same time. NOW, you NEED TO OPEN THE Singari and then align, AND THEN YOU NEED TO CLOSE THE Singari and OPEN ANOTHER PLUGIN PANEL. THIS PROCRESS KEEPS REPEATING AND REPEATING. SO ANNOYING.

Aligning to first selected is a simple solution, which used to help me a lot on Axure, and could be really useful for XD.
The first selected object could act as the key object for alignment, avoiding the extra step of pointing it explicitly.
I attached 2 small videos to compare Axure and XD on this feature.

Axure solves it at its simplest - fist selected is the key.

Absolutely crucial for XD! Thank you for considering this feature.

It would be great if Xd had the same align options as Illustrator where we can align to key objects, distribution spacing etc., as digvijay sad.
It is basic!!

Yes please! This seems like a no-brainer to have on Adobe XD

I think it would be helpful to allow for arrangement and spacing of elements to be defined by a specific value or related to a specific element; similar to the feature in Illustrator.

There is a plugin in for this which does this, but when I compare the speed of doing this in illustrator using keyboard shortcuts and using a plugin there's quite a difference.

OMG why has no interactive design/prototype tool implemented this? Such a great feature of Illustrator.

Yes please. This is one of my most used features in Illustrator and I'm kind of surprised that it's not a part of Xd. You don't always align everything at the same time. I usually align everything as I go, so wanting to add object #26 to a group of objects that are already aligned, I obviously don't want that 26th object to move all the other already aligned objects.
