Not sure how I missed your last reply! So sorry for the delay. Are things working better for you with this in our recent release?
I can't share the document due to my contract with my client. But these are the problems:
1. I did the H1 in uppercase letters! (I wrote normal but clicked the uppercase button in sketch). Maybe that makes the problems? For me it's a problem too, because I have to write it all LARGE and the the developer has to write it back small … :-( Xd needs more text transformation tools!!
2. Many dartboards were cut off, because the stage ist not infinite.
3. The "Open Sans Extra Bold" is displayed too thin after opening the sketch doc in Xd (I have 2 screenshots illustrating this, but I can't upload it here …). Maybe invisions "Craft" is doing something, because of it's "styles" (colors, text styles)?!?!?
thanks for the answer.
• I opened the Sketch-Document in XD.
• When I apply a character style my other fonts (Bold, italic etc. AND my serif font) will be transferred into the new style too?
• I just realized that many artboards are cut of, because it seems that the stage is not infinite … So then that's a reason to switch back to Sketch …
To replace a font for the whole document (like in InDesign) would be a nice feature
When I create a new document I can select the fonts! Sorry I can't share the document cause of my contract …
I'm not really sure, but maybe (in my old Sketch document) I took a different Open Sans font (not from Typekit maybe fontsquirrel.com …)

We think you’re going to really, really dig the plugin integrations we’re making available later this year :)

We’ve begun working on an easier way to crop your images without using an image mask and will be releasing this in an upcoming release!
Product Manager, Adobe XD
Please like InDesign!!! Drag and Drop an image and then it's simply a frame which ich can resize with the control points at the corners. The image-parts outside still existing, that I can do changes afterwards! So easy! No masking-horror please!!!
And additional, the automatic filling-option of the image should be with the declaration if the image will be cropped left, right, top, bottom or centered!!
I think the google fonts are not so important. I can install them (all?) on my system via SkyFonts. But it's hard if you have some WOFF or EOF-files which are special developed for the web/screen and there is no OpenType or TrueType available. How can I show my client how the website really look like?! Ok every browser will show the font different, but it's better than to use Arial!
I was wondering that I didn't found anything how to use WOFF or EOF in Adobe XD or Sketch … I think this would be a great feature!!!
Even though there are similar stories, I’m going to maintain this one, as it best reflects what we shared at MAX 2016: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dn_9u1qtQ8s&t=1305s (start around 21:30).
Thanks! That's great! :-)
"Styles" not "stiles" … sorry …
Understood! Leaving this open with the attached clarification.
Yes, I think I need something other. It would be great to use just one element so I just give an image a white border and a black background and if I can give the image an opacity of 80% separately, its getting darker, cause of the black background. At the moment the image has to be on a separately layer above the rectangle with the white border and the black background.

Important in collaborating with developers who all use sketch. So they can easily catch icons/elements/texts/images or get an overview over the architecture/structure of the site etc.
Yes, please! Make text automatic split into columns like sketch + the plugin "sketch-text-tools"! Make CSS3 possible to design in Xd.

To compare different designs of two art boards, its nice to jump from one art board to the other and back via shortcut. The zoom level and position in the app-window hast to be the same to compare both artboards well. In InDesign I can do this with "Next spread" and "Previous Spread". It makes no differences on which part of the site I am. The next page will have exact the same detail/cutout (position in the app-window)
Note: there’s a limited version of this feature already available. If you select an existing piece of text and then leave it selected while you use the Text tool to create new text, its style will match the piece of text you had selected.
While we haven’t created UI to bring this into the app, we have worked to create a wireframe UI kit that we released recently (for free!). Check out Wires: https://www.behance.net/gallery/55462459/Wires-free-wireframe-kits-for-Adobe-XD
