Cancel publish during upload
By mistake i choose publish proto and update link - how to cancel it? - i have to close the file to cancel an activity.
Hello,
Sorry for the confusion. At the moment, there is no way to cancel a sharing operation once it has started.
You can manage shared prototypes at https://assets.adobe.com/assets/prototypes, and delete anything you may have published by mistake.
We are reviewing the feasibility of adding cancel functionality to our publishing workflows.

Please please please! Need to be able to cancel if publishing is taking a long time. Also need to be able to cancel if opening a file is taking too long.

This proves to be useful, if XD get's stuck in the progress of publishing.. and if you publish but notice another change that needs to be updated while waiting (for a long) progress to publish.

While creating the link, if I need to cancel it inbetween you can provide a cancel button

You do not understand. Your Adobe XD does not work properly in some networks with specific security environment. Link updating takes sometimes more than 30 minutes! More over - it finally ends on failure!!! That's the waist of money and time for many companies around the world. This is very important for many people working in corporations. The update cancelling might help.

Great idea! Especially when you are working on a weak connection and you forgot to include one thing, then you have to wait until the upload is finished.

The shared link update takes a long time with a large number of artboards (for example 300 arboards). There should be an option to interrupt updating shared link.

The Sharing option is one of the Key concepts of XD innovation. But it can be enhanced with few things.
-While creating/updating a link, let the user see what settings was selected. For example, sometimes, I forget either I've chosen the Development or Design Preview type of link so I need to know I'm creating the right link with the right settings
-Upon the above request, a "Cancel" button while creating/updating a link is a handy option in case the user wasn't satisfied with the selected settings and need to edit them.
-The slow process speed of creating/updating link need to be solved.

Sometimes the user edit something and then clicks update link, while the user is waiting he might find another thing to edit a small thing. in our case we have to wait the updating process till it ends and then make the small edit and update again and wait again.
but if we have a cancel button for the updating process we will not wait twice. -

Add feature to cancel the share link being created will help speed up design & review process.
WHY?
Sometimes when you share for review or development the link takes forever to generate, and then ends up failing anyway. Being able to cancel and restart with/without and adjust export settings might help speed this up. -

A button to cancel the upload should be provided during the online sharing in order to revert an eventual user's mistake.
User is forced to wait until the upload is finished, for big files, this takes quite some time. -

When sharing is in progress, provide a option to Cancel (to go back and fix something forgotten) as it takes long time to complete the publishing.
