Support for .oam would mean that tricky interactive elements and animations could be built with other tools including InDesign, Edge Animate or Tumult's Hype.28 votes
The integrations with Protopie and Kite are great, but both apps lack a free tier. Atomic is one of the best prototyping tools and the free tier will fill almost every need.
In fact, Adobe should acquire Atomic and make it an integral part of XD.27 votes
Option to get semi-random images in grids using adobe stock images. I would type some keywords like "nature" and "hiking" and it would automatically fill other grid elements with similar photos.
Maybe it could be done for single images too like this:
1. select shape
2. click insert image (in appearance)
3. choose source (adobe stock)
4. type keywords
5. select image
and if it's grid it selects similar images.
It could speed up design process when you need to quickly get dozen of related photos.26 votes
I would like to see an integration with Unsplash to search for images and import them into shapes in XD.25 votes
Workflows for Illustrator and Photoshop users: create artwork in PS/AI, import into XD, add interaction in XD
I think most of us in the industry already use AI and/or PS as our primary design tool. It would have been awesome if XD was a tool that focused on simply adding interactivity to artwork that was imported from AI or PS. AI and PS already have all the editing capabilities... why do you want to add them again in XD. It seems like the goal was to create an answer to Sketch, rather than enabling existing Adobe users to rapidly create interactive prototypes. Adobe's core strength is in AI and PS... and you could have hit it out of the park by simply giving us a way to add the interactivity.
That said, I love the ability to record and share with stakeholders. That is very cool. But I can't really use the good stuff until there is tight integration with AI or PS. Please please reconsider your vision for this product.

While a love Adobe products and am super excited to see XD and how it integrates with all the other programs I use on a daily basis, I have built a rather large custom library of components in Axure and would like to convert them over or use them in XD so I can start using it as a primary tool.21 votes
Title speaks for itself. I realize this is a feature request that should be forwarded to the framer.js team as well. An alternate solution would be scripting support with coffeescript or jquery.20 votes
Integrating with https://thenounproject.com/ app on Mac would really speed up the process flow of applying icon sets into the app design.
I'm currently hopping from the noun project app, to Adobe Illustrator before copying across to XD. It would be good to miss out the middle man and just drag straight to XD.
Thanks!19 votesAdminPeter Flynn (Admin, Adobe) responded
You can already get full-quality vector icons from the Noun Project desktop app directly into XD via copy-paste.
However, if you drag & drop from the Noun Project app into XD, you get a bitmap instead of a vector, which is not ideal.
So XD has partial integration already — I’ll leave this request open to cover the remaining missing piece of better drag/drop behavior.
Anybody working in this field knows the "randomuser.me" web service.
Randomuser.me service is an essential tool for automatic User assets generation.
AdobeXD should integrate it. It is has simple API, and it is free.
This would make out lives much easier. Manually creating users profiles every time is something that can make a designer cry...19 votes
Have the possibilities to add some 360° videos would be interessant because nowadays this kind of videos are everywhere and give a lot of dynamic to your project. Then if we can have a VR mode on the futur video player, xd should be an entire soft.17 votes
We have many non-design stakeholders who need to provide input into designs and workflows. Oftentimes the easiest way to communicate with them is through a simple presentation.
It would be great if we could export our workflows/canvases into a PPT slide deck that we could annotate - with the interactions and linkages (mostly) auto-annotated in the slide's speaker notes and with the slide order (basically) being the top-down user flow.17 votes
Great Adobe XD for Jira is available. But only for Jira Cloud version. Does this plugin will be available for Jira Server version? It would be great !15 votes
In Sketch 3 I can just drag n drop any SVG from browser (e.g. from http://www.flaticon.com ). But I can't do it in XD. Instead now I have to download file on my computer, than find this and drag file from Finder.15 votes
Are you still seeing this issue? We’ve made a lot of changes in the past couple of years.
Integration of XD with AEM will be very convenient to prototype and bring the application to life at the same place.12 votes
We are working with the AEM team to provide integrations in the future.

I am looking to use Adobe Xd as a rapid prototyping tool for our business. sliders such as those used for color, and volume controls would be of an immense help. The color picker sliders wouldn't be as advanced as those that were in Adobe Color CC. These are just simple sliders that start at 0 then go to 255 for RGB values. We also have brightness/intensity sliders and white temp sliders as our lighting is RGBA. I don't need them fully functional, just having the ability to work the control knob left to right would be grand!9 votes
I’d love to build tools that parse the .xd file format, but I haven’t been able to find an official .xd spec anywhere. Does this exist? If not, can it? I don’t mind if the spec changes frequently; that’s the pain of being an early adopter.9 votes
We need a possibility to embed prototypes and design specs into Confluence (Server version, not Cloud) since we use confluence to manage large ui and software projects. Confluence therefor is the central place to organise user stories, screen designs, prototpyes etc.7 votes
