Publish .xd file format spec
I’d love to build tools that parse the .xd file format, but I haven’t been able to find an official .xd spec anywhere. Does this exist? If not, can it? I don’t mind if the spec changes frequently; that’s the pain of being an early adopter.

I am totally interested in this, but in another direction. Would be awesome to convert something to .xd files. Like you create a bunch of styled elements in your design library and simply export/render it to .xd files for designers to use. So you don't need to maintain .xd and your ds website separately.

Is anyone still interested in this? I have a fairly basic JS API for XD files and I'm hoping to publish an npm soon. Let me know what you would be interested in feature wise and I'll see what I can fit in work wise.

The problem is that the structure of json files inside zip can be changed. So, api is better

I think it's related to API request where you can get doc structure from command line tool for example like it is in sketch
