I use another way for this, but only with primitives.

Please, I beg! Add this function for Adobe XD. it's very important for the different projects.

I think about others functions too.
1) Reflect function
2) Fixing objects, ex.: menu for scrolling down for a view of mobile UI design applications and so for web design too. - it needs for the prototyping mobile applications.

for me, the status bar moving from artboard to artboard was immersion breaking for clients,

Request since april 2017, this features is essential for lot of designer ! Scrolling element with fixed overlay unlock lot of possibility in ux design.

I already voted on the feature request mentioned by others. But since this is listed as Feature Under Review, I'd like to add my voice here as well. Without this functionality, it's difficult to perform proper usability testing: "Oh, sorry. Yes, that header/footer will actually always be visible." Please add this feature. Thanks!

Beyond click XD does not provide any interactive behavior for elements on artboards. Things simply sit wherever you place them. This is one of the reasons the tool is so simple and efficient to use. But in order to prototype different interactive patterns and simple logic relations, it would need to introduce fundamentally new concepts. In that regard non-transitioning object, sticky header / footer, modal windows, hover effects, any form of on-artboard-animations, responsiveness are all related features. I'm curious how they are going to solve this.

Until there is a fixed header option available, I'll be sticking with InVision, even though I'm paying for the full CS package... If there is one, please let me know.

I don't see any option in the layers panel that allows stationary elements

A new property can be made which can be added into the layers panel , all layers below the property remains stationary when changing screens or scrolling artboards.
This is extremely different from a stick header, which affects every layer whose position is within the sticky header width.
