An error occurred while saving the comment Joachim Tillessen commentedIn the meantime check out this plugin. While it doesn't enable automatic resize. It makes resizing a single click:

The total height of your page changes constantly, when you have a couple of content modules stacked and adjusting the artboard height every time is a hassle.
Maybe you should rephrase your feature title to make your idea clearer to other users. I was looking for that exact feature, but did not find your request at first.

Hi Ruth,
I understand what you are saying and thank you for the explanation.
Cheers,
M.An error occurred while saving the comment Joachim Tillessen commentedI would like it a lot if txt would be an exportable format just like SVG and PNG. This would give users good control over which sections of text they want.
Export options that generate structured file formats like json or xml according to the document structure, could be a way to allow for reimport.Joachim Tillessen supported this idea · -

Kenneth, would you mind breaking out SWF import as a separate feature request? That way people can gauge whether people want both or which one is higher priority. I’ll remove SWF from the title here so it’s focused specifically on HTML import.
An error occurred while saving the comment Joachim Tillessen commentedAmong the most tedious tasks in Screendesign are
a) populate your design with credible data
b) keeping your design files in synch with changes that are implemented in the product
Those two things take up too much time when designing a new feature for an existing product. Most of the times I end up copying and pasting parts of the UI from my browser to avoid recreating them in XD and glue them together with new elements that I'm actually working on at the moment. We have computers we should not waste our time recreating things that are already there.
It would be extremely helpful if I could export an editable comp directly from the browser. I think this would work best as a Browser PlugIn, so that you could capture any state of the app you are currently working on, with the desired resolution etc.
I am aware that this is a large feature, but the conceptual similarities between the DOM and XD objects should make this feasible.
Imagine how easy this would make for any existing web project team to migrate to XD...I know that this feature would also lower the barrier for copycats who would use other people's design as a template and present it as their own. But I feel limiting the possibilities for legitimate creators in hopes to slow down illegitimate use has never proven to be successful on the internet.
An error occurred while saving the comment Joachim Tillessen commentedI'm wondering whether this should be a browser plug-in rather than a feature of the XD desktop app.
As a browser plugin:I could print out any application that is not publicly available (logins, localhost, internally hosted apps...)
I could replicate any state of the webapp that does not have a specific URL (single page apps, error states, one particular step in my checkout process, ...)An error occurred while saving the comment Joachim Tillessen commentedWhile I see tons of benefit in having a workflow to export style changes back and forth. It's important not to dilute the scope of this feature. Technically the web is a super diverse and while one fraction sees benefits in a dremweaver integration others are hoping to maintain their react or vue components and yet another fraction wants bootstrap... Exporting code is widely discussed in other feature requests.
I hope everybody here can agree that the ability to export a HTML document to XD alone is valuable enough to support this feature.

We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will be able to see the same folder structure for shared cloud documents. More details to come!

An error occurred while saving the comment Joachim Tillessen commentedI think it is correct not to display scrollbars in prototypes for touch devices, because users wouldn't see them in the finished product either.
Rather than display scrollbars for all prototypes, I would make this optional for prototypes that are intended to simulate desktop products. -

Note: there’s a limited version of this feature already available. If you select an existing piece of text and then leave it selected while you use the Text tool to create new text, its style will match the piece of text you had selected.

I also made a template that I want to make publicly available. The limitations the XD file format has in comparison to other file types feel kinda odd. Are they based on security security concerns? There is a similar feature request on the user voice board for the creaticve cloud desktopp app:
