Show Hidden Characters
Hidden characters and paragraph options are essential to my design work and they save up a lot of time. I know this comes from the print design approach but I still feels it's valuable to have more control on paragraphs rather than putting everything into a different box of copy.

Layer blending modes need to be supported when exporting jpgs, pngs, pdfs etc...
Currently when trying to export a preview JPG or cut assets, if an asset layer uses a blending mode the exported file will ignore the blending mode and revert it to its original state.
Example, if you have a dark blue background color and want to create a glow with a white circle with a blur, setting the blending mode to overlay will change the color of this white glow to a lighter blue color of the background color - when exported to jpg or png it will appear white.

RGBA missing in the CSS shadow color in the dev mode
You create an element with a shadow with:
X: 1 / Y: 1 / B: 4
color: black opacity 10%When you choose to share your design in dev mode, the CSS attribute are available.
What do you expect:
box-shadow: 0px 1px 4px rgba(0,0,0,0.1);
OR0000001A;
Current display:
box-shadow: 0px 1px 4px #0000001A;Can we have the rgba + this code color?

Hover states should show on press and hold on mobile
Allow hover states to activate on mobile when you hold down on the button.
As a UI design I've been wanting this for a while and wished it came to the app! I think this will benefit all of us

Import CSS styles to apply to assets panel
Recently the company I work for has updated their UI. This change is major although we do incremental changes along the way. Now our app is in newelegant.css and our component libraries and prototypes are in legacy.css
Our organization is also tool agnostic so as a design team we utilize a myriad of prototyping tools. for each tool someone will have to volunteer to go through and rebuild our components to match our new ui.
Few people are using XD so I will proabbly have to do this. What a cool move would it be if I could ask the…8 votes -
Create separate, custom hotspot areas (e.g. smaller than the visible shapes)
Allow to create a hotspot smaller than a shape (eg. part of an image, part of a repeater...) without the need to split the image/repeater or to create an invisible rectangle on top of it.

Loading animation as a type of Transitions
I started feeling the miss of a simple "loading animation", like the ubiquitous spinning circle, as a type of Transition between artboards.
It would be very useful, especially to the developers as they would see and understand where to place a full page refresh.1 vote -
Switch keyboard shortcuts for Save As and Save As Local
this is bad UX!
Command-Shift-S
the standard keyboard shortcuts, which you also know from other adobe products, should save the file locally and not to the cloud.
Command-Option-Shift-S
the extended keyboard shortcut can save the file in the cloud.

Empty cloud document cache
my local drive is filled with the cache of previously opened cloud documents. why is the cache not cleared automatically?

In Illustrator or other adobe products I remember a menu dedicated to selection.
I'd like to have a collection of selection functions all in one place:
Something to select items with the same properties.
Toggle how select all works (all art boards, all visible, or current art board only)

Update placed image layer name when new image replaces
Currently (v30) when an image is dropped into an artboard or placed in a shape it will name the layer with the image file name. It does not change the layer name if that image is replaced.
It would be helpful to have an option to enable the layer to be automatically renamed to the new filename instead of just inheriting the current layer name.
I know there are issues (mostly related to auto-animate) but would be handy as a toggle or check either in preferences (what preferences right?) or as a modal check option on drop.

Ability to copy layout grid
I would find it very useful to be able to copy the settings of the layout Grid of an artboard and paste it onto another. I often come across the situation in which I create new artboards that don't have the settings I need. in this case I need to type them in manually.

Alignment snapping to match paddings and spacing
A very common scenario where I am trying to align an icon to thr right of the screen with a padding like the one I used on the left of the screen. Wouldn't it be cool if XD suggests "Hey you used 16px to align your header to the left of the art board/object would you like to keep icon also to 16px from the right?'

Enable stacks for an entire artboard
Allow 'stack' feature for entire content of an artboard! This would be amazing! Now I have to put everything in one group to do that – this wouldn't be necessary if we make the entire artboard to a vertical stack!

Menu to select specific layers under your cursors click-position
I would love to right-click on a spot and go to a layers-list and see all layers underneath my cursor so I can "dig deep" and even select locked layers by simply right-clicking on them, go to "layers" and then see a hierarchy of everything (even locked items) and select the one I want and change it/remove it. See screenshot for further explanation (As in Sketch and Figma).

Built-in iOS Library
Having an online/built-in library for iOS, similar to the Sketch iOS library, that is synced with a library created by Apple. This library generated by Apple is constantly updated with the latest design patterns and components. This will enable us to be up to date on the iOS designs, and be in sync with the master file.

Pasting object into stack group should align it with the rest of the stack instead of its original location.
As an Adobe Xd user that uses many artboards & different stack groups, I would like for pasted items to align with the rest of the stack group when adding more objects instead of pasting in the exact same coordinates that it's pasted from.
See video attached for example:
1. I copy an object that I want in a different stack (this can be any object on any artboard)
2. I double-click into the stack group to paste the new object.
3. Paste the object
4. The resulting object is pasted at the exact coordinates that it was copied from…12 votes -
Element rotate animation
It is hard to circular rotation using auto-animation. We need rotation time and speed input field.

Default CC Library to open view by group
I have created group folders for my assets in the library file but each time I open I have to choose to view by group as the default is by type. And sharing the lbrary with the team also presents the same issue. Whichever state the library was last saved in should be the default.

Default folders to collapsed in CC Library panel
When opening a library file it would be good to have the folders collapsed or have a choice of collapsing all at once. Otherwise its complete overwhelming as a starting point.
