I want to able to pin layers to both the top and bottom of the artboard layer panel. When you send an element to the back, I don't want it to be behind my background.

Every time when I design an object and give a fix position, with the time and changes on the layout I always have to go back to the smae object and place him again in the top layer so he doesn't dessapear behind something on the scroll.

The feature to secure layers that must be placed at the top.

I need this feature for my current design. I can work around it, but with a lot of extra work and time. Layered pins would simplify things.

It would be great to have the ability to choose layers, which will always be on top of others.
Sometimes, I build a site, open the prototype and see I forgot to put the Navigation bar on top. Then later I change something or paste new layers on an artboard and the same happens again.

Maybe in the Layers Panel, there could be an option to separate "background layers" and "top layers".

I could use this feature right now. I have a document with 95 wireframes and probably 2/3's of those have three components that I have fixed and have to go through and re-select all of them and arrange to front if I make changes. This would save me so much time!

Lock content/group to top or stick to top of all layers. For example, headers and status bars should always be on the top layer/front of all content within an artboard.

Any comment on this Adobe? It seems a relatively straightforward implementation. If you select 'fix position' it defaults to be pinned at the top of the layer stack and if a user doesn't want it pinned there they can move it to where they want and the pinning function is removed. (I suppose, on reflection... the best way for this to be implemented in fact ti to add a 'pinning function' to the layer stack.

Any solution to this?

Hi! this is exactly what I submitted last week I did not notice there is already a pending request anyway I vote for this as this is really important and needed by designers.

Really needed! I waste so much time update'ing the preview link again and again because of this. And then, of course, I must remind the client that they need to refresh as well...

I can't believe this isn't a thing already... Especially with sticky nav items, I usually want things to scroll under navigation for example... Anyway found this while trying to find this feature, so it's got my vote hahaha ;)

How has this not been upvoted more?! This is super annoying as you update and paste items on a design board, then you have to select all navigation that should remain at the top and being to front.

We need this!

Simple fix for this:
1) Default behaviour: On click of 'Fix position when scrolling' checkbox it actually 'pins' any 'fixed' layers to the top of the layer stack no matter what new objects are created.
2) Custom behaviour: If a user wants to move it manually within the layer stack they can but then newly created layers get created above.

That satisfies bother users cases. Those who generally expect fixed items at top of stack and those who need to actually tweak the placement.
