Sigh! XD evolution is starting to remember me the one with Illustrator. Usability and common sense implementations delayed for years. Suppose XD will mature in the 30's when we no longer need screen devices.

Yeah! 5 seconds... but my customer needs exactly 10 seconds (even another simple micro-interactions that XD is incapable to replicate) Time to look for a new app to achieve it :-(

The direct selection of objects/layers/groups/ interferes with the "expand" group/folder/components action.
XD is missing something as simple as an "chevron" to tell that something is expandable. Nowadays is globally accepted in every app out there (even on illustrator) So why fool us each time we try to select a layer or expand any group or component? Specially, when Name of layer and folder icon are so near in big screens.

Absolutely agree!! One of such bad usability design that make us lose hours of work and focus. To be constantly open the folder after every little click on the states is a waste of time, and a source of stress and frustration.

Even could it be invaluable some sort of basic "conditionals" i an easier and visual way. So tell XD to trigger states depending on some conditions. Some like: If "button.load" state is "hover" then "rectangle.message" state to "welcome".
And please, make "Interaction Panel" detachable and independent from the "Layers" panel view. Each time we select a state to test and fine tune, his container component closes, needing to double click each time to access to inner elements. The opposite also is a waste of time... each time select any component from layers, the states dissapear from view, so need constantly selesc un select components to remember names, states, which one was set as default... etc, etc, etc...
