We are facing a similar issue. As the addon requires some space it is displayed very prominently in all tickets. However, most Jira tickets do not require linked prototypes. We see the following requirements for the addon to tie in seamlessly with the workflow of software development companies:
- optimize the displayed information for screenspace (e.g. "Share designs and collaborate with your team, all within Jira. Learn More" is not necessary)
- option to display the addon only when a prototype is actually linked (link prototype via the "more" menu)
- option to determine the position of the addon through the standard Jira interface (currently there is no control over the position) -

Many companies are reluctant to use third-party online-sharing services for their development teams. While I love the online prototype feature of Xd and would like to use it to share and discuss the prototype with potential users, I cannot do so for the sake of data security. A feature to create a local html prototype of the Xd project with comment functionality so that companies have full control over their data would really make the difference in bigger companies. I think, this would be appreciated by many designers. Also creating a password protected link for the online sharing function would be very helpful.
This would be really helpful - especially because XD tends to become very slow when many artboards are created on the same page in one project. Maybe this would help to speed up XD as less items need to be rendered at the same time.
