I’ve tweaked the title so it covers only exporting animation to GIF format. This will help keep our feature list fine-grained so we can get a better picture of which are the most important.
For the other formats that were originally mentioned here:
- Export animation as a video — exporting to MOV (QuickTime) is supported now, via the Record button in the Preview window. If you need to save in a different video format, please file a new suggestion with details.
- Export animation as HTML/CSS/JS — please upvote https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13198020-export-html-css-animation-code
- Export animation as Flash SWF — please file a new suggestion if you need to export to this format.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sipho commentedTo clarify, because preserve scroll is not available when using auto-animate, at least it's not apparent as with transition for example, the transition 'jumps' in a jarring fashion. This seems to be more apparent when using the XD preview apps on mobile, e.g. Android.
An error occurred while saving the comment Sipho commentedThe lack of preserved scroll kind of limits the use of the auto-animate feature to art boards of the same height, and therefore not useful for most realistic prototypes, especially for mobile apps.

Support for webp is quite urgent for our workflow. We have to use the webp plugin for Photoshop in order to save the image files in this format which is a pain. There is not even support with using Adobe Bridge > Photoshop - Image Processor to batch convert files to webp, only PSD, JPEG and TIFF formats are supported. Please prioritize workflow features/functionality and especially with the understanding of this not being a standalone tool.
