I’m moving this over to the Feature Request section of the database, as it’s an enhancement request on the way we’ve designed the copy and paste functionality.
Yes I think it would be beneficial if the linkages can be retained in both Prototype Mode and Design Mode.
If I don't want the linkages to be copied, I will just go to Prototype Mode, and delete them from there. Simple as that.

I posted this bug on February 20 and received no response whatsoever. So I am posting it again because it's annoying me.
In my Adobe XD file, I have laid my user interface design the way I want it to look like. However when I shared the prototype, you can see the colours are less saturated.
Can you please fix this? So that the colours appears the same as my original file?
When I shared the prototype link, I noticed the colours are less saturated. I took a screenshot for both Adobe XD's preview and on the browser to confirm it.
Here is the image attachment.
Sorry for my late response. Currently working on 3-5 different client app and website projects at the same time.
It's mostly for spec, and also to make sure the icons are exported correctly. Been having problems when the icons are 10.5 pixels and when exported to Web. It exported the @1X as 11 pixels and @2x as 21 pixels, instead of 22 pixels. The developer will ask me to fix this and I'll be left wondering how to work with Adobe XD correctly.
I guess the pixel grid could be a workaround ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Strange how there's only shadow :(

Usually, when I download icons from different websites and want to unify the graphics in terms of stroke thickness, I always use illustrator to create the outline of the stroke and use the boolean tools to either add or subtract the two shapes.
I like to have the same feature in Adobe XD, so I don't have to go to Adobe Illustrator just to modify the graphics and bring it to Adobe XD.
This is a good idea. So the prototype mode wouldn't feel like I'm clicking on images, but feel like I'm actually using the web. And it'll be great to let anyone know how the prototype is going to behave and interacted.

While XD doesn’t yet have this feature to save gradients in the color picker popup’s swatches, you do have several other options today:
- Store gradients in the Assets panel swatches: open the Assets panel on the left side (View > Assets), and click the “+” next to Colors. Then select any other object and click the gradient swatch to apply it to that object.
- Copy gradient fills between objects: use regular Copy on the source object, then select the destination object and choose Paste Appearance.

As a workaround for this featire you can make your home artboard an “index” page which links to the different views/subsets of your design. When you share your design and visit the URL you can click through to the real home artboards and copy the URL (each artboard has it’s own URL on the shared link). You can then share these URLs to link people to a subset of your design.
We hope to be able to formalize this feature in the future.
I accidentally clicked on a new link and wanted to update it because I have already shared the link to the client. Now I can't anymore... T___T
