An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedThis issue has become more important as we are forced to transfer design ownership and re-create links more often because of all the recent non-backward compatible releases of XD, and the new bugs that are preventing us from using shared design components.
We use the comments feature to add technical/functional call-outs to developers, so every time we have to change ownership (like if someone just goes on vacation!), we have to manually transfer all of the callouts!

We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will share ownership of the document, which means people leaving an organization won’t impact your workflow. More details to come!

It seems with each release lately, we have more problems with working in XD as a design team, not fewer. Components and component sharing have so many bugs now we cannot even use a master component library at all. You are releasing buggy updates too rapidly, without release notes, that are not back-ward compatible even for udpates just a few days apart! Please get your act together and fix the fundamentals for team collaboration and design system support, before you release one more new "feature". We have to seriously look at whether XD is worth the high cost compared to other tools that might not be as fancy, but actually work. I mean, why pay for all these enterprise-class features that really aren't there?

This is one of three issues that are really messing up my team (the others are blocker bugs in complex components and being forced to upgrade share URLs with no redirects). We have a mixed Mac and PC environment, and it is not always possible to keep our XD versions in sync. Plus, we are reluctant to upgrade because we don't have enough information anymore to evaluate new versions (you used to have great release notes, now there are often no release notes at all). Some of your updates have caused us a lot of work and delayed the work of dozens of developers. For example, when you first released your "tile view" (and took away the layout view we were using to organize 100s of artboards for each application), we had to spend days renaming and perfectly aligning artboards on canvases to force the screens to the correct order in the tile view. On any given day, at least one of us is often unable to open shared files. We are a serious design practice that delivers pixel-perfect specifications for application development work. In the past couple of years it has gotten harder and harder to support our processes with Adobe XD. Adobe - unless you have decided to forsake serious enterprise-grade design teams, please fix these issues. Please spend more time on robustness and less time on all those useless layers of marketing web pages. Your Adobe Cloud user experience has become chaotic and frustrating - it's a struggle to even find the version of XD I am running! I need my team to spend more time designing and less time trying to work around Adobe XD issues! Oh, and basic file version control would be nice.
