HELLOOOOO ADOBE!! You seriously need to get your act together and implement a solution for this. You either give the ability to share ownership or the ability to transfer ownership. It's fundamental! We are paying $$$$$ for this service. At least get the fundamentals right.

What is the status of this update? It is critical to be able to share ownership when collaborating especially because people go on this thing called vacations sometimes.

Not having this capability is totally impractical and a real pain point for designers, developers, project teams, project managers, and executives. EVERYONE!!!! Please fix this asap.

No transfer/reassignment of file admin/ownership permissions poses problems when a person leaves the company. I am working for a large corporation where the previous creator and owner of a mission critical XD file left the company. I took over the UX design aspects of the project but cannot update any of the previous employees XD file links that have been shared throughout the entire company downstream/upstream and with contracted dev services. I cannot just create a copy of a file and generate a new link when the old original link exists in multiple locations and some unknown... I cannot access these and change out the link to a new one.

You can change it by yourself. You just need to click on share button and from here you can choose the share option according to your desire. Once, I also did the same thing for my website's documents https://bubbahead.com/.

It has been almost a year since Creative Cloud Spaces was announced... Still very much in need of a feature like this one.

Just needed to say again how deeply unprofessional it is to mention that at Adobe Max something is coming then do nothing at all to keep your users updated.

CC Spaces... More details to come! - Then When?! You're a PM at Adobe obviously you need to now keep us updated? It's hard to not look at Figma, Sketch or any of the others growing tools.

Please update and pass on more information, and some honestly wouldn't go amiss, if its 100% happening but going to be 6 months OK, great!

Almost a year later and no CC Spaces...

If the owner of the file is on long term annual leave and an updated link is required to be shared - having to save the file to your local machine seems pretty old school when we're being encouraged to work collaboratively on the cloud.

Users with editable access should also be able to generate or update links - as required.

Some feedback on this would be nice.

What is the status of this? Our team has been without Design System updates for a long time (I was previously the owner of our DS file, but changed accounts and now none of us can publish any updates.) Having crappy workarounds won't help when 20+ ongoing projects rely on links from that original DS file.

When will CC Spaces finally come out? It was mentioned in October that it would be released early 2022, it's May already... What's the point in adding a collaborative mode when you can't sync if you're not the owner.
