Choose which artboards to share (share link to prototype/design spec subset / exclude some artboards when sharing)
Because we are often working with multiple dev teams on a single project it would be great to be able to select a specific path of actions and share them as a link. Example: share just the contact flow or the shopping cart flow.
The benefit of being able to see all screens and link to them is great. Being able to see and share a subset as well would be awesome. We could focus on just sharing that specific interaction and the team it is being sent to wouldn't have to go through everything just to see the UX of a single section.
Hi All,
WIth August release of Adobe XD, we have now added the ability to define ‘Multiple Flows’ on your canvas, switch between them in Share mode, and also choose to publish or share out links from your flows!
You can also choose to share out just a single artboard on your canvas, by setting it as ‘Home’ artboard and not having any connection wires to/from it.
Check out this video and blog post to learn more!

I highly encourage you to install the latest version of Adobe XD, and give this feature a try!
We would love to hear your feedback and improve upon it.

I commenting to late but you can share separated link for each artboard y you share / pones the shared link / go to the artboard you want to share / copy the URL and share. Each artboard have unique URL.

In my workflow I do need sometimes the spec of a single artboard also (to link somwhere on the project documentation for an example), what I'm doing in that case is that I generate the spec link, vistid that link and navigate to the artboard in question. With that artboard focused I copy and send that specific link to my devs so they don't need to go trough the entire project to find one specific artboard.
I don't see the case where this is not enough, if you do have some use case for this please elaborate for us! :)

Dude, It's working perfectly fine.

Actually, this is incorrect; currently, if you have no wires in your document, we share all artboards, but if you do have wires, we only share the artboards that are attached to your home artboard. However, I think you have a feature request in here about choosing how many artboards you share. I'm going to change this feature request to reflect that.

I noticed that I couldn't publish a Design Spec to share with our dev team of just a single artboard. I had to first create another artboard and link them together somehow and then I could publish. I would rather have the option to publish specs that are either A) already prototyped and linked together, or B) individual artboards I can pick and choose (select) which to publish specs to. Frequently our dev team will ask for just one screen on smaller projects, or just want specs on specific screens vs an entire flow we might have prototyped together. Would be nice also if the SPEC view was a top left tab in XD like Design, and Prototype. So I could go into SPEC mode and extract measurements myself if I'm a designer/coder in one. Or choose the screens there to publish specs on, etc. Making it more functional and not so restricted.

Ability to tag/hide certain artboards so that when we Publish the Prototype those remains hidden from the user view. If I've 35 artboards out of which 5 are still work in progress, while publishing the prototype all 35 gets published and user will be able to navigate to those 5 unfinished ones. If XD allows me to tag those 5 artboards so that they remain hidden after I publish the prototype and the end user only sees 30 artboards then it would be great.

With the current share online options, while you are in design mode, you can share online, and see all artboards for comparison. However once you move into prototyping mode and link up a few of the artboards and refresh your online share, only the artboards that are connected through links are accessible.
It would be great to have the option in design mode to share all or even better, a selection of artboards for UI comparison. And a seperate set of options for Prototype mode share online (inclusive of a toggle for turn off all transition effects - in some instances these can distract from the UX input beeing sought).

Hi Tim Cole,
Make sure you connect all screens in Prototype Mode.

In my opinion, when the user have been sharing a link the application could allow that the user chooses the artboard, because the dialog show: Start at: ...., but sometimes the user work with several artboards, one can show a specific.
Another thing, the label "Share Again" could be changed to "Create new link", it was very confusing and I had to think for a moment to know that there I could repeat the action.[]s

I have 38 art boards in my XD file but when I share online only 26 are uploaded.

If you look at this prototype link you will see that it transitions slowly between pages and it also exports slowly. That is because there are a lot of pages in the prototype that are actually not used for that particular prototype link.
It would be great being able to choose which artboards to export to speed up the process of exporting and also switching between artboards within clickable prototypes.
