Export whole artboards (or entire project) as HTML
It would be great to Export Prototypes as pure HTML Projects. I am working a lot on Multiscreen apps, where I mostly use Serveal Webcontainers Running on several Screens, to develop those Applications.

Hey Adobe - Please make XD export the needed CSS and JS for an export to Dreamweaver and Muse! Great products - would be incredibly powerful if we could integrate them.

我注意到 . 最近两次的更新 . 使XD能像sketch那样分享设计了 . 但是 . XD只能分享链接 . 但sketch可以把 切图\设计分享 全部整合在本地 . 我认为这是一种非常方便好用的功能 .

I have extremely in depth ideas on how to integrate this into Adobe Xd, as this is my full time work, i use Adobe Xd 12hrs a day 5-6 days a week when designing. Thank you for an amazing product.

IDEA:
As a full time Web Developer, designing in HTML and CSS is beyond annoyingly slow, padding, boarders, color, transparency, alignment, Flex boxes, etc are difficult to work with.
Adobe Xd makes it easy to design and prototype UI.
Web Languages such as Javascript, HTML, and CSS have been around for a long time, CSS is the style (colors, transparency, boarders, corners etc...), HTML is the layering, and Javascript is the functionality (on click, the UI changes color for example, or moves from one side the screen to the other).I think Adobe Xd could be expanded to meet the needs of web developers needing speedy prototyping and creating of Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
Design Mode:
Here is how this could work.
HTML:
- Make Artboard in Adobe Xd = Webpage
- Draw Ellipse
- Ellipse DIV added to HTML file and is assigned the style of Ellipse01
- Ellipse01 style created in CSS file with (color, size, position on the screen, boarder, orientation, etc...)
- Add drag and drop color change javascript animation onto Ellipse from Function Bar > Animations > Button on click
- This adds a javascript file with the function that fires on click
- With the inspector of this Ellipse object, actions can be added, that would occur on click (such as changing the color, and size of the button)Export as Web Page: (To Local HD)
On export you would have three files per artboard:
- Javascript
- HTML
- CSSWhen opening HTML file the artboard would appear in web - browser as a web page, either fixed screen size or flexible depending on what settings the designer has set.

I am founder of a financial company and could talk on the phone or through email with one of your developers to run ideas past him/her related to this feature request. -

Hope they would integrate this with Adobe Dreamweaver or some other software.

Adobe will no be the first .. there are already aps doing this such as https://www.rapidui.io
Sketch is already working on this. But it will be nice to let the html and css manual coding as part of the past and finally make it happen with adobe -

Come on Adobe it's gonna happen soon, put your Sensei to work, why not be the first!
The code school lobby will hate you but designers everywhere will LOVE you.
It's such a fun app, Thank You! -

if XD has converting prototype to clean html code, will save time and development cost

Export to HTML? Maybe I'm old school, but I can't imagine how this would actually produce good markup based on a design. How would Xd possibly determine semantic markup based on design elements. This is a tool for design. Let's keep that way.
I don't ask my coffee maker to produce a stellar day.

Yeah, until XD can work with the rest of Adobe's web development tools. This product won't be used in our productions. Most designers can build at least in Muse, which can supply ugly but usable code to the programers. In big shops where there are user designers that only design interfaces but not the functional code is this of use.
I hope this is part of a past when in the future we look back on and say, "remember when we built prototypes that you had to rebuild from scratch to actually use?' -

I was in the neighborhood and noticed the "needs more information" too, but can't easily find what information is needed.
There is a related feature request for export to interactive PDF, which shows as "feature under review". Really there isn't a difference between the two requests, except one makes many HTML f lies and the other makes one PDF. So, why is this one understandable:
but the HTML one isn't?

how about output to muse and build out the html there? just a thought.

Let's say you finished your prototype in XD, then you export it as html, then in Dreamweaver or another thing like Brackets or PhpStorm, etc, the developer connects your hard work to the database or scripts and see how all the thing is working, instead of watching your XD prototype and star over in another piece of software to rebuild everything over. You can get to your developer to re do it, but it would be better for both if the project is in a HTML/CSS form to make adjustments, not do it over again, or XD is pointless because you can do that now in Illustrator, Photoshop, or a single pencil and send it to the poor developer to do everything by himself. Need more clarification?

Why this feature is in the "NEED MORE INFO" status? what info are needed? It's absolutely clear :-)

This really does seem like a no nonsense expectation of the tool. Even InDesign can export HTML. I currently use InDesign to do my web designs as i can hyperlink from page to page and have for years as i can turn my frame style to have borders to make my redlines. This really is MUST HAVE feature to get people really embrace this tool.

Adobe Xd....Nice try. In the end, back to scratch. Or better said: back to Sketch.
If it doesn't add this features quickly, Adobe should make some room in the garbage can for Xd, next to the edge suite.
