Change owner of cloud document
A member of our team is leaving. The only way we can change ownership of her files is to have her download them and share them locally. This is fine and all but it breaks all the links to the document so I have to go into the various places we share the link, like JIRA, and add new links.
I would prefer that we could just change ownership of the file to another team member.

We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will share ownership of the document, which means people leaving an organization won’t impact your workflow. More details to come!

This has been suggested for over two years, and yet Adobe seem to ignore one of the fundamental things to get this machinery to work flawless.
Let's say I have worked at a project for a client and we only keep Cloud Documents since we arent allowed to keep it on our local machines, I have hundreds of these, now I am quitting the project and handing it over to an other designer.
Problems that instantly come up:
1. I cant download all the files in one go and re-upload them for the new account (neither via CC or via website or via support)
2. I cant transfer ownership of the file, and save the links that other people rely onSeveral tickets for over two years, yet you do nothing about this, Adobe.
Do we need to change to Figma or Sketch in order to solve basic things like this? -

Our agency needs that too, please. -

That's a really important feature for Agencies, where multiple designer can work on a same document !!! At Publicis we don't use XD that much because of this limitation... Please, this is a must have for Agencies !!!!!

This might be helpful.
Save your XD file to your local computer, and you can open it up on a different account as a file owner.

This is a major issue for our team. As we move through the phases from requirements, to wireframing, to design, to prototyping, the person responsible for the file shifts. We need to be able to empower the responsible party to update share links. It's a huge pain to have the original creator have to update the share link every time.

This feature has to be there very soon, as in my org I am the only designer but owner of xd files is my boss, so everytime I cannot ask him to create links for me.

We need this feature desperately!

It would be great to designate multiple owners of an XD file. This would allow multiple contributors to make updates and not require the original owner to update the shared link to update links that have already been distributed.

This would be REALLY useful for my design team as well.
We are a big fan of the coediting feature and have our projects shared within the team. If one of my team members who is the owner of the document and is unavailable, it's impossible for us to create and share the link after making any updates to the document.
Creating a new document (as suggested in the attached screenshot) makes the previously created and shared links with the development team outdated.
Thanks.

This is CRITICAL for any design team. Also need ability for co-owner (or shared user) of document to publish. If a team member is out of office we have zero ability to publish the prototype.

Just to add to this:
- Add ability for permission levels (ie.. Owner, Editors, Viewers) etc.. based on use-case.

Hi Adobe team
please, we really need this please. I had redesigned a whole website, shared all the links with the devs and now that I am going on maternity leave and handing over all the job I am realising this is not really possible as would need to change all the links ... devs won't be happy about it :/
Thank you for your help!

Urgent Feature! please address this as soon as possible. We share our prototypes with so many clients and it is a big issue if we need to update links.
Thank you.
