Paragraph spacing / Soft Returns
User should be able to use a soft return (shift+return) to break a line of text without adding paragraph spacing .
Shintech Malaysia started out with an incredible objective of ensuring environmental sustainability through innovative green engineering. Our journey began as a fertilizer manufacturing company, utilizing available wastes and converting them into value-added nutrition for plants.
Really annoying not to have Soft Return

Wow, what a huge disappointment to find this was not an error I was encountering and is instead a well known design flaw. This might be what breaks me from XD after I finish my current project.

I can't believe it's missing such a basic feature - clearly put together by illiterates!
This software is so poorly put together it amazes me! Just replicate the features from "your" other software pieces...
Right... all your good software was not designed/developed by you, you bought it from somewhere else and it shows - everything you put together from scratch is useless and a shame to the software world.
Disgusted by Adobe lately...
Very basic should be able to do. Clients are not interested in the reality of in not working like that!!

need this BASIC function!

how is this even a design tool without soft returns? You need to hire a graphic designer for your product development team

Guess I'm stuck with a lousy rag in my paragraph for now...
oh come on Adobe!!!

I cannot think of any other app that supports paragraph space-after that doesn't support soft return!
This is typography 101
Happy Birthday Paragraph spacing / Soft Returns Request!
3 Years old today!
You're growing up so fast now.
Have a wonderful day and hope your request comes true!
Lots of love from everyone that commented and voted.
Please. This would save me a LOT of time.
Adding my vote to this. We need this capability!
Adobe, it's becoming seriously frustrating to run into the lack of very basic features. Please fix this, will you?

I agree with most here. Basic text editing features have not yet been achieved by you Adobe. Before you release something ask yourself what is essential. Although I believe it has been discussed that doesn't
mean you're forgiven for not allowing this, bullets, tabs, etc.
Add that we're paying for a premium service the YOU position that way and this is far less than premium.
Shame, shame, shame.
I really shouldn't have to add extra spaces and characters to my text, then change that text color to my page background in order to "hide" it and create the illusion of soft returns. C'mon, Adobe, it's been almost three years. When is this being implemented?

Adobe, you should feel ashamed for not having this by now, let alone from day 1. Can you at least respond that you have heard us?
