I have a layer that shows the keep out area on all artboards for iPhoneX rads and notch. Having to toggle this on/off is annoying. A keyboard shortcut to press and click the layer to toggle its locked state would be useful.

I've had to create 30 artboards just to illustrate iterating through a device setting (thermostat). When the user goes to a menu from any of these artboards and comes back it is impossible to return to the screen they left from without comically creating 30 menus. XD needs the ability to do simple logic like:
onClickBtn = varThermo + 5, where varThermo is simply a text field containing a variable. This variable could be accessed globally and auto populate other areas of the UI.
or onClickBtn = ifCheckbox goto artboard X else goto artboard Y.
Right now there is such a disconnect between how designers 'design' and how actual apps are built.

Long press is a pretty ubiquitous interaction. Surprising that XD doesn't have it. Currently need it for a project.

We think you’re going to really, really dig the plugin integrations we’re making available later this year :)

This one is an essential for me. I often use GIFs in app tutorial screens or troubleshooting screens. I have to use other tools for prototyping until this is part of XD.
GIFs in components could be activated in a hover state would be a nice one too.
It's a shame the GIF request (should be relatively simple) is bundled in with video (which imo is a much more difficult problem).

Would love to see this. Lottie works well with Axure when loaded as a plugin. Create a box, right click 'use as Lottie frame' then paste in a link to a Lottie JSON file. Trying to build a prototype 'tutorial app' which demos instructions vastly aided by animations and keep having to fall back on Axure when I'd love to do all this in XD. Would also work for microinteractions.

Being able to organise assets into 'buttons' 'icons' 'nav' etc would be really handy. At the moment I have a huge list that is a bit painful to search through even when I have given things a naming convention
