Sorry for the false alarm! Someone pointed out to me that I interpreted the request incorrectly. While you can now select objects both in the artboard and on the pasteboard, you cannot yet select objects on the pasteboard and complete artboards themselves.
An error occurred while saving the comment Steven Ackerman commentedAs usual, googling how to do something so basic to productivity lands me on uservoice.

An error occurred while saving the comment Steven Ackerman commentedHello fellow users of Command-F!
Funny trick: if you "show hidden files" on Mac OS...
[in Terminal]
$ defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles true
$ killall Finder...then you can search your local directory and aliases to cloud XD files you've opened previously will show up.
This is the only way I know to find work in XD Cloud.
The beauty here is you don't need to remember if the file was local or cloud, it's a unified search.
But it should not be like this.

An error occurred while saving the comment Steven Ackerman commentedThe thing about this is, Sketch and Figma users who do heavy-duty work can't do so quickly in XD. Click-selecting every element is not an option.

An error occurred while saving the comment Steven Ackerman commentedBTW, is it possible to get a URL even with restricted permissions?
This would still be useful in keeping a directory of work that everyone can find in one place, even if they can't open the files.
Please let me know how to do this!
An error occurred while saving the comment Steven Ackerman commentedWe need this so we can keep track of our XD Cloud files. With this, someone can basically invite themselves to a file by opening it from a directory (we'd use dropbox, I guess?) — essentially replicating the way file servers used to work.
So now when you hire a new designer, they can have access to all of your design group's past work.

We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will share ownership of the document, which means people leaving an organization won’t impact your workflow. More details to come!
Steven Ackerman supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Steven Ackerman commentedWait, if you use XD Cloud, and someone leaves your company, their work is lost forever?
What if you have everyone save their files in the same team directory?

We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will be able to see the same folder structure for shared cloud documents. More details to come!
An error occurred while saving the comment Steven Ackerman commentedIt's impossible to find past work your teammates have worked on.
We could save URLs to cloud docs in a shared dropbox folder, if only XD cloud docs had URLs.

An error occurred while saving the comment Steven Ackerman commentedIn Sketch, Command-Option marquee is a lifesaver for working fast.
Figma supports this too with command-marquee, which is easy for Sketch users to discover.
In XD, there are no marquee modifiers, and work pace is orders of magnitude slower without this.

I cannot think of any other app that supports paragraph space-after that doesn't support soft return!
