I would like to set global values/behaviors for various things in the preferences. What I can think of right now:
- Default text line spacing/leading (like on Illustrator/Indesign)
- Default transition duration (0,2 s, 0,4 s ....)
Is this what happens when greedy companies like Adobe start giving away software for free... even the small stuff is dropped?
This Grey'd Out Preferences / Preferences request has been completely ignored from posts dating back to early 2017.
1. Take away the "Preferences" link until you (i quote support) "...figure out what to use preferences for..."
2. Actually spend a little time with Preferences. Small things can go a long ways.
Again, the project PM's are not listening to your customers. How long did your team spend on all the Voice Interactions again?

Please do make the preferences option available in Adobe Xd. It has been greyed out on Mac forever. Preferences are mandatory for any design. software.

If preferences do become an option, please include the option to turn off the animated tool tips.
For a while I thought it was something wrong with my setup which was causing the preferences to be dimmed.

I see "preferences" as a greyed out option in the program dropdown menu. It's been like that for at least a year. It seems like the app is getting complex enough to warrant some personal controls! Will we ever get a preferences menu?
At the very least, it's awkward to have an option in a menu that is greyed out and will never NOT be greyed out. Maybe remove it until we have prefs?

why can't i use those settings like in any other adobe apps?

preferences is an essential, just like every other cc app has...
it's been over a 2 years since the first complaint on Adobe forums about the lack of preferences in XD....
avoidable actions such as changing or removing a transition for every navigation is very frustrating and inefficient for the XD user
please add some preferences, even if not all items can be set, at least something????
I think it would be great to create a preference setup much like Illustrator or Photoshop or InDesign, etc. Basically, leverage what you know from other Adobe products and integrate into XD. I would say, not just look at this for one category, but you can cover a whole host of categories with this. I do think this needs more detail in terms of exactly what goes into the preferences. But there are multiple feature requests that can be resolved with preferences for all the categories (01-09). You really need to step up the game as your competitors are way ahead of you, and put into question why I should pay $52.99/month when others are about that for one year and in InVisions case, they are a free app that is what you wish you could be. I do love abode, but it seems like they aren't paying much attention to their users.
