Allow multiple people to share a link to the same published URL (multiple owners of a Prototype or Design Spec)
Collaborative work: Updating 'share link' of an .xd file not possible on another machine
System: macOS Sierra 10.12.6
XD-Version: 0.8.22.17 Beta
We are working with different people on the same .xd file. Updating the prototype link is only possible on the machine with wich the .xd file was created. The other people can only create new links.
- Create an .xd file
- Publish prototype
- Save the .xd file
- Open the same .xd file on another machine
- Updating the published prototype link not possible (only creation of new link)
We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will be able to publish a link. More details to come!

END THE BOTTLENECK! How can teams get work done if we're waiting for Tom to get back from Cancun to update the links?

I'm getting pinged 5 times a day to update links on files I no longer work in. I never thought my design tool of choice would end up as a daily distraction.

The ability to authorize ownership of the project, so more than one person can update the publish of the proejct.
XD sharing is too centralized right now. If there are multiple designers collaborating on a document it would be nice if there can be more than one who can update the link. It's a little bit of a hassle to always contact the owner of the doc just to update the link because despite how small the change is.

It definitely makes our lives easier when more than one person can be the owner of the document! Please implement Adobe, thank you!

I wonder what it takes for Adobe to decide to make a change to their software. Is there a line which we, as desperate XD users, haven't crossed yet? Do we need to continue commenting and thus up voting this topic? My next stop is Twitter.
Sincerely,
—DimitryP.S. I can't make review links because Vince is not at work yet.

While working on co-editing files.. multiple designers are required to create and update links on the same file. Currently only owner is able to create and update the link and everytime I make changes, the owner is required to help with link creation. While adding members to the file, the owner must be able to give more permissions like: Edit & manage link | view only | edit only

I am here to add my vote to co-ownership of an XD account. I am right now working on an update and can't send it out for review because my colleague isn't in the office. Come on Adobe, we know you can do it. It's probably JUST a little bit of code. Please? Please, help a brother out.
Sincerely,
—Dimitry -

It's absolutely necessary to allow multiple owners on a project, considering how switching accounts is anything but straightforward

Dear Adobe XD-Team,
it seems a bit frustrating seeing that Design Systems are a big topic also in your presentation material. A possibility to have more than one owner for an XD-file to share prototypes would be really appreciated concerning time savings within large-scale projects in order to work efficiently.
Thank you!

We changed our workflow to Figma because XD has so many issues with collaboration and file organization.
We work collaboratively on a file. But if the owner is sick or on vacation, a "-v2" must be created. It can not be that only the owner has publishing rights.

This feature is really important for collaboration.
I set up the file for me team to have an overview, but I don't want to have to share the links with clients myself every time there is an update.
Please fix.

It's a very necessary feature for teams to be able to transfer ownership (or have multiple owners) of XD files, libraries and design system

it is like the file owners at Adobe never took a break from work to handoff files. they didn’t see the need to include this important feature i guess lol.

We need this feature! How do you think a workflow in a big design agency works? The owner of the document want to have some time off from work... in this time we need to create new version to make someone else owner to be able to share links with our clients. This is not the idea with the collaborative process and the single source of truth document.

Hi guys,
I am a UX Designer.
I faced a big problem when working with projects that have a large number of links to different flows in one file.
The problem is that when I create a file and all links inside this file, then I cannot transfer the rights to work with this file to another designer. Another designer has to create new links within the file.
And every time you transfer a working file to another designer, you will need to create new links.
This is very disappointing.
Could you tell me when you plan to add the ability to transfer the owner's editing rights to a completely different user so that you do not have to create new links? Thanks.
