Transfer prototypes and design specs from one AdobeID account to another
It would be helpful to be able to copy prototypes (along with any shared comments posted to those prototypes) from one Adobe ID to another. I am leaving one company and moving to another company but need to take my prototypes with me and there is currently no way of doing this. Thanks!
We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all members will be able to share ownership of prototypes and design specs. More details to come!

I want to transfer the ownership of my contractors work to a new perm member of staff with links and all the work entact. Ideally with in a few clicks.
When I say links I mean published links so the new staff member can pick up where the contractor ended.
Otherwise I have to replace all the links with new published ones.
Honestly it would be better if co-editors could with have ownship transferred on share or be allow to update the existing set of links.

This sounds like changing ownership, so once you've upvoted this one, go to this and upvote too: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/38308750-change-owner-of-cloud-document

Cloud doc transfer ownership as well as prototype links. Teammates are hindered when trying to create shared links from other Owner's shared cloud docs. This is a big collaboration hinderance.

I'm a jr and my senior is going to leave the company because he found a better opportunity. Now that we're seeing the closing of his AdobeID account we've realized there is no way of transferring ownership of our work to another user.
It would be nice If once you've shared a prototype in the collaborate mode, the accounts collaborating become "co-owners/Administrators" of a XD document. I was thinking there could be an option to designate "Owners" similar to a Facebook or Whatsapp group. So the document, libraries and assets are transferred to the selected AdobeID account without messing up the links generated in share. (Just imagine if the company has 300+ prototypes shared with devs, it's a nightmare updating and keeping track of all those manually).

Yes I need this! My Senior is leaving the company. We have around 100+ prototypes with generated links which are shared to development via Confluence. It would be nice if those prototypes you've shared to collaborate with other AdobeID users could pass to a new owner.
I cry just imagining having to locate all prototypes in the devs user stories to update all the links manually.

I'm kind of shocked transferring owners isn't a feature. On one project I'm downloading everything (and losing version history, updating all documented links, etc) to transfer owners. On another project... it's just too big. I don't even know what we'll do when one of our two primary designers leaves. People change jobs. Assets get handed off.

Yes please! This would be a valuable feature to allow junior practitioners to create and transfer ownership within teams, much less departing jobs and clients.

We have the opposite problem: The creator of the file left the company, and we want to designate someone else as the owner.

I need to handover my XD designs to my clients and I can't transfer ownership to them. They want to be able to edit and update the shared link for the developers to work on, but they cannot because they are not the owner, and I'm no longer working with them.
I do not even receive alerts telling me that they have requested for me to approve an update to a link, so they have to call me up.
Please help or suggest a workaround, thank you.

It’s been more than two years, Adobe.
If you want to be taken seriously (more than someone’s side project at Adobe), then show us that you are serious about team management functionality.

I work together in a team of several designers. One designer is the owner of the document. If I make some changes I want to publish a new prototype with new specs for the dev team. But, since I am not the owner of the document, I am not allowed to.
How are we supposed to work in a team with a scenario like this?

I can't believe there are no management tools for the cloud files. You can't change the owner, set permissions, etc. I have the opposite problem: I need to take files from an employee leaving and transfer them to an account that we have control over. This person can find no way of transferring the files to us.

Hi Arun , yes . If possible , make "Another Owner" able to re-publish/re-update the design without using Ex-Collegue account to make re-update the design.

Hi Arun,
Yes I as referring to private links. So it is great to know that the links will stay active. Will the invited members need to just have an Adobe ID or also an active CC subscription running to keep the links active?
And yes, we would also like the feature to change ownership of the link and start updating the designs from XD to the same link.
Thanks

The same facility is also required for design specs. Pasting details from another request I made on this...
We have an agency that is using Adobe XD just for our project. They will not renew their Adobe CC license after this project. The ongoing project has its design specs published and contain rich amount of comments and conversations.
We would require this information to be transferred to us after the agency has completed the project and exited. This is important from a retrospective and legal standpoint.
However Adobe XD does not have this feature yet. We also need a way for internal designers who are leaving the company to transfer the published specs and prototypes to someone else without requiring creation of new links. The links need to be retained because they are already shared in multiple places including Jira. Suddenly having all these links going dead will be an upset.
Zeplin has a simple way to transfer ownership. A feature similar to that will be quite sufficient: https://support.zeplin.io/faq/transferring-a-project

Thank you for submitting your request to us. I agree with you that this is an important use case.
Regarding the already created links - I am assuming these are all Private links that you are talking about?
Please note that the link that has been created will continue to exist even if the agency who had originally created does not renew the license. As long as you and your team members can login using the Adobe ID to which you were invited originally on that link, you can continue to open and view it.Link will only cease to exist if the owner of that link (user who had originally created it), goes ahead and manually deletes it.
Having said that, I am curious to know if you are also wanting to become the owner of that link and would want to re-publish/update design from original XD document to that same link?
Thanks!

Hi, I am faced with a similar issue.
If this feature is not supported at the moment is there anyway workaround to allow the transfer to prototype from one Adobe account to another?
