Stacking or grouping artboards into collections

Stacking artboards can help to clear space for working and rearranging artboards.

Also we can stack artboards by size or type.

In the company I work, we are almost changing to Figma due to this feature. It is sad but although XD is faster than figma you end up with a mess of artboards very easy

Voted! This is sooo needed!!! My XD docs are getting messy really quickly nowadays.

In addition to these Artboard Collections it would be helpful to able to spread those Artboard Collections across some tabs as well (could be named Collection Tabs) (works like MS Excel's worksheets) (Can be paid version only option). So you can organize even further.

Currently working on quite a big project with numerous artboards. This feature would be so useful. Another useful feature related to this would be the ability to search for a particular artboard when hotspotting/linking artboards.

Artboard list wraps into parent group with show hide option.

So we can make rough work in some different groups and keep our design area clean. And show/hide respective artboard.

Maybe you guys set a radio button so at a time we can only access a single artboard.

Would love to see something similar to other node-based software, such as the backdrop node in Nuke, groups in Unreal Engine, only for artboards :D

    Examples:

Ability to group art boards together for a better user experience, especially for those who use detailed prototyping which requires a large number of art boards.

When the project has too many artboards it's hard to find a specific flow group of artboards

Going through hell right now because:

    1. Can't group artboards.
    2. Can't select and artboard and a header from the pasteboard at the same time to clone.

Voting to request adding grouping artboards into collections. Implementing this would be more useful and satisfying.

Organize the screens into different folders / sections in a prototype. Currently all the artboards are shown in one single view. It becomes very hard to find the required screen immediately. If there is an option to organize the arboards into different folders (onboarding, admin, etc) it will be easier to find an individual screen.

Something like Frontify folders, Invision sections or Marvel sections.

Yeah Pages or Stacks, some way of organizing multiple iterations or different flows or related parts of an app would be super helpful.

That’s a great idea to collect specific artboards into groups. But the canvas has to be taller, infinite or flexible then to manage this ...!!!!

I like the Sketch organization with the possibility to organized your artboards in different pages to reduce the tons of artboard in one page.

We need tools for Artboards. Currently I'm designing a big platform and I got more than 130 Artboards, there is like 80 that I am actually working on, but I don't want to delete the Artboards that I'm not using, It would be awesome either:

    1. The ability to have an Archive folder and put all artboards there
or 2. The ability to create folders and hide the folder in the artboards area.

    Regards!

It would be very helpful if we could group artobards into squares, assing background color, and a BIG title - helpful to get a macro vision of the project! Take a look at the attached image - I did the squares with Artboard tool and made them colorful.

Yes!! VERY needed... I work on projects that can sometimes consist of 100+ artboards.. it becomes a job in itself to keep track of where everything is when zooming out. Good recommendation!
