Sorting of components is a necessity!

I can't wait until they add this and components updating when you change the name.

Has this feature still not been implemented? XD falls so painfully far behind Sketch when it comes to components and sorting and organizing a design system. I really hope this is at the top of the development list.

Robust sorting options for Asset List are needed. Ideally would like to see support for folders and section labels. And desperately need the ability to lock a defined list order that carries over to files that link to master.

Our team wastes a lot of time reordering Character Styles to match what we have defined in the master.

Sorting, filtering, grouping and foldering all of these are critical to being able to organize a design system!

This feature is nice but I will ask for more options:
- sorted by the asset order. if you organize your color in a certain way, the alphabetic is not the right way. Or, you have to add a number before each color. Another annoying thing.
- sorted alphabetically or invert.

It would be nice if users can sort components based on alphabetical order in addition to time order

I have over 200 elements in my Adobe XD Assets (not in my Adobe CC Library!)

Well! Adobe "hopes" that SORTING those hundreds would be helpful to me.

Moreover, the MASTER SORTING and LOCAL SORTING feature is also required.

Yes definitely. it's painful to find components when we have 20+, right now I have more than 60, and it's hard... really hard to find components

I miss the possibility to group the component in folders as in Sketch. The way you xD is right now, you quickly lose the overview-

Working for an larger organisation sorting assets is a necessary feature. I imagine it would look something like this:

1: sort alphabetically
2: inherit from master document
3: user defined setting (optional) <maybe this makes things overcomplicated
4: Group items in folders (@michael Connely)

Coming from Sketch to XD, Alphabetical and Folder Nesting of Symbols (Components) I miss most
I have named my components to Sketch standards in hopes that one day XD will automagically work the same way using the / as a folder. This pattern would show as an expanding folder.

Sorting alphabetically would be cool. AND, what about a way to let the components inherit the sort order from the master asset file?

I'd hoped by organizing my components in the main file, that the order would then get updated in all of my linked projects, but they do not. 😭

Yes to this, yes to @Thomas Miller's, @Jeff Collins, @Ole Frederik Lie. Why would it change the order of the Library Components on a new file??

My understanding of Xd's purpose is to make wireframing faster, more consistent, more efficient. A library of shuffling components is essentially the antithesis of that.

Someone else suggested a folder - I'm making a library with both mobile and non-mobile components so we can wireframe all needed breakpoints during the design process. A way to keep those components organized would be killer.
