Would add to the sorting options this request: that however the components are ordered in the master file gets carried over to any file that links to it.
The color palette seems to retain the order specified in the master XD file, but components re-order themselves when you link to the master file. We have a huge library so this has become very frustrating as my team has to re-order every XD file to put the most used components at the top.

I know the XD team is cranking out new features all the time, but this functionality is standard within the industry and Adobe apps.
Looks like it has been Under Review for 4 years now. C'mon guys, can this be prioritized?

Robust sorting options for Asset List are needed. Ideally would like to see support for folders and section labels. And desperately need the ability to lock a defined list order that carries over to files that link to master.
Our team wastes a lot of time reordering Character Styles to match what we have defined in the master.
